I requested a quote for moving items from storage in Texas to Arizona where I now reside. I was given a very high quote by 'Tony Delgadillo', who is listed with the TXDOT as a 'principal'. History check shows this company to be currently under investigation for violation of transportation regulations and for not carrying insurance. They are on their 3rd investigation; 2 others had fines assessed. One other website check shows their company's license to be revoked.
Anyway, I asked them to reconsider their quote, as all my items were already boxed and stored with shrink wrap. I gave them mileage, and the exact amount of weight as quoted by another very reputable company agent.
They immediately start calling me names, insinuating that I don't know how to estimate weight, questioning my information, and telling me to find another company that caters to 'non-educated, ignorant people' like myself.
This company needs to be run out of business permanently. They use the logo for the American Moving & Storage Assocation on their website. I have verified their membership was terminated way back in 2004 for unethical and illegal business practices.
