Hi,
about over a month ago, we paid 62.65$ to download the Norton anti-virus on our computer. I was suppose to get an confirmation code by email to activate the anti-virus, but i never got it. Therefore, we paid for the anti-virus but don't have it. Please install it on our computer or we will call the company to complain.

fraud
I have just received a unauthorized charge of $49.99 to my credit card by Symantec's autorenewal system. Yes I had Norton a long time ago on an old machine but kept aquiring viruses so eventually had to scrap my machine and get a new one. Due to dissatisfaction with the Norton product I opted to use free programs from the internet far more suited to my computing needs.
Due to the economic situtation, my family lives within a stringent budget. The timing of this unauthorized debit to my account has accrued to my account a total of $140.00 in overdraft charges. These charges are pending at the moment and I have conacted my bank about what has happened. In response, they have offered me a contact number to Symantec to see if I can resolve the situation with them.
I called the number given by the bank and was kept on hold in excess of forty minutes. I finally gave up waiting at 9.24 pm. I will try again in the morning.
Wish me luck.

Will not cancel automatic renewal
For 2 years I have been trying to cancel my Norton anti-virus. When my computer crashed, I was unable to re-install it, so I ended up buying a different anti-virus. Norton keeps sending me E-Mails that they're "renewing" a product I don't even have, and they keep charging me $70.00 Canadian. I never authorised automatic renewal, and I keep E-mailing them to stop. They will not acknowledge me or write back. The renewal E-Mail says you can cancel by clicking on "Cancel automatic renewal" on a drop down menu on the left, in the Norton website. But that option does not exist. If you E-Mail their customer service, you get only a standard automatic reply saying they are processing your request, but you never get an actual reply. I keep E-Mailing my bank, requesting them to stop the payment but Norton keeps getting the money anyway. Doesn't anyone know how to stop this?? Isn't it illegal?

Automatic Renewal
I recently had a credit card debit for the annual renewal. I do not have the software on my machine and no longer have the computer that once had this software running. How can I prevent this unauthorized debit in the future?

Unauthorized Charge
Unauthorized credit card billing from NORTON ANNUAL RENEWAL 877-294-5265 CA for $54.04. I never haad Norton antivirus on my computer. I called the number on the credit card bill and got someone in India to work my complaint. They must have had numerous complaints, as one of the automated selections on the phone line was for unauthorized charges. I am also contesting the charge through my credit card. The SEC should go after Norton for fraudulent business practices, given all the complaints I've seen on this website.

Want to cancel orders
I placed two renewal orders in error. I have been trying to get them cancelled and I waited one hour and 45 minutes on the telephone to talk to someone and no one came on. It kept telling me to not hang up but I cannot sit and wait all that time. If I do not get a call from someone I will cancel these orders and go to another company to get virus protection for my computer. My phone # is 717-492-9747. I am very upset as there should not have been two orders placed
