I am the victim of a computer hacker, who has interfered with my emails, sent mails on my behalf, and caused me to delete this Norton from my system. I have evidence that [email protected] has sent emails purporting to be sent by me.He has also used [email protected] to collect mail.(note the CHUMCO).Ian has been throughly dishonest, he gave me the disc, knowing at some point he could carry out his subversve activities.I am shocked beyound belief, as he is my son.Surely, he has broken the law, I never had an inkling until days ago, that he had indulged in this terrible intrusion onto his parents pc.What, if anything, can be done to stop him again with anyone else.

called tec support, after explaining problem with product download tec said no problem we'll fix it in ten minutes... 5 hours and 49 minutes and 3 tecs later still no internet security and having problems with my laptop ever since waiting for a refund as well. very rude tecs also.

I have had ongoing problems with Norton Internet Security. The customer service representatives in another country constantly assure me that they will be able to help me but the problem returns frequently and their solutions do not work all the time. It takes a while communicating with them also.

The real issue is when I try to do Live Updates it gets hung up trying to initialize and I can not get out of it without having to coldboot restart the computer. Sometimes when I try to do Live Update in the program it will tell me Error: LU is running in the background but nothing is happening, I can't update and I can't abort the program.

I am on a renewal program with Norton but will consider wasting my money to switch to another program than to risk being unable to keep my protection updated.
