unautorized renewal
I received a 64.19 charge on my cedit card that I did not make. It was for Norton Annual Renewal . We have not had Norton for years. I have filed a dispute claim with my credir card company. I hope this mattwer can be resolved quickly.

annual renewal on 01/04
on 12/24/10 i purchaded the norton 360 full service.and installed on that same day .purchas was made at bj wholesale. and norton made a annual renwal to citi card service .on 01/04 for the same service i ask that the $75.59 be returned to my citi account that informatiofarn you have on file thank . please call me first befor aney fees or service charges made to my account.i thank you for the great service so far' mr richard l wynder .

Annual renewal
On the 26/10/2010 Norton has taken an annual renewal amount of $99.99 ref# 180-068-0026GBR. This is not an authorised transaction and I require a refund as soon as possible.

uninstalable software i have not downloaded
norton found its way on to my desk top i delleted it and found it in the system directory deleted that and then found after a few mins of high HDD activity it had instaled itself on my computor and there is no way of closing it down or deleating it. norton is acting like a virus itself and has forced itsway onto my PC i have my own anti virus softwear. and never want to see norton on my PC. i want this practice of invasive softwear stopped!

UNAUTHORIZED BILLING PERSISTS!!!
In 2003 I got rid of my old computer, which originally had NORTON installed on it for 2yrs (which was 3.5yrs prior at that time!) In 2003 AND in 2004 during the wintertime (don't recall exactly which month), I was FURIOUS, and phoned NORTON to CANCEL. I supposed (naively that they successfully REMOVED me... BUT NO, THEY DID NOT. Frankly, I had forgotten about it; this was partly due to other MAJOR PRIORITIES happening in my life. In 2001, 2003, 2004, 2009, and 2010 I had health issues with CANCER attacking my body!!! In 2005 I upgraded my computer, replacing the old one. In 2006 I established a new email address, etc. I.e. life continues w/o realizing NORTON kept BILLING my account ANNUALLY!!! One might ask how I missed it. Apparently billing occurs at the end of every year - between Thanksgiving & Christmas, when most of us - self included - are running hard; I hadn't been checking my account statement thoroughly. Darn. THEY REALLY NEED TO STOP THIS WRONGFUL DEED!!! I AM CALLING NORTON TODAY (AGAIN!)TO STOP THE EXPENSE FROM RE-OCCURRING.

poor customer service
I wanted to cancel my subscription to Norton anti-virus and waited on hold thirty minutes one day. I had to leave, so the next day I called again. I worked on other things while on hold, and I never did get to speak to a person after TWO HOURS AND TWENTY MINUTES! I would never purchase anything from a company that does not want to offer a real person to talk to. I resorted to going into the settings and switching off the automatic renewal that charges my credit card. If they still choose to charge my card, I will dispute it with the credit card company.
