I do have have Norton and want this automatic billing removed from my credit card. My credit card was charged without my authorization.

I used Norton's free performance check-up, it was Norton's way of saying thanks for purchasing "Norton Internet Security 2009" Little did I know it was only a ploy to sell me something else. Namely "Norton PC Tune up Service" I paid for the service and was given a service number and a phone number to call: 877 788 4877 I called and was put on hold for over an hour, I finally gave up.

I wrote an e-mail to symantec: [email protected] I explained my complaint as here and I have had no response. I must also mention that this service is outsourced to who knows where.

So good luck to anyone who buys anything from Symantec.

Norton's customer service team regularly leave you waiting in the phone queue for an absurd amount of time.

Lately I have been left on hold for 55 minutes and 45 minutes respectively before giving up, with the phone never having been answered.

I finally got an e-mail address to complain to and have not had a reply in more than a month, despite four e-mails.

Norton's anti-virus software seems adequate but their customer service is by far the worst I have encountered at any company. They make it extremely difficult to file complaints and they simply ignore them when they receive them.

As of Nov. 4, I paid for upgrade of Norton Virus but have tried numerous times to download it but can not seem to tie up the phone line (nor sit in front of computer) long enough to download. Please refund my money and I will try buying the help from a retail store. Thank you. LaJean Whitcomb of Lacebark Inc.
