I was a Norton antivirus subscriber - it was originally on my Microsoft laptop, so I renewed out of convenience. Over time though I found it created many computer glitches and didn't protect me from viruses, so, I changed to a different company. Like many other victims of negative billing strategies, I was charged without authorization for another year. Attempting to get a refund through a tangled phone system of prompts proved difficult, but I perservered nonetheless.
Although I did get a refund, Norton/Symantic, managed to make almost $10.00 on the transaction! What a scam! Because they charged me in US funds, I was subject to changing exchange rates. Imagine how much money they can make doing that?
I'm disgusted with the organization and will never have anything to do with any of their products if I can help it.
