On Saturday the 17th of October NTL/UPC came out to fix my neighbours pipe. He took the lid off a man hole and 'tagged' a wire as he called it and as a major coincidence my pipe went. My partner confronted him and told him he had knocked off our telly. The reply 'no I didn't do that'. My partner rang NTL 3 times as was told that no there was an error in connection and we'd have to wait until the 20th before they could come out and fix the problem. Eh hello, the NTL technician made the problem by going near the man hole and 'tagging' the wire for my neighbours. The customer service was unbelievable and when we asked to speak to the manager we were told no. The technician was rude and my partner asked him if he didn't knocked our pipe off, to undo what he had done in the man hole to confirm if he had done it or not. The technician's response 'no I'm in a rush'. I couldn't believe that we have to wait 3 days for someone to come out and fix our NTL when a person from their company made the problem. Absolutely rediculous.
