Ordered 3 major appliances for $3, 500 on 8/12/09. Company took our money out of our account on 8/13/09. On 8/28 order was finally shipped after many calls back and forth. Received calls and emails stating order shipped when it was not. Received order on 9/8/09. Stove had major damage, delivery company says they got it that way. Before I could reject order, husband signed paperwork after delivery man listed damages. Number1Appliance said they would have the delivery company call within 48 hours to make an appointment to pickup stove. Never happened. We called delivery co. on 9/10/09 (56 hours)and they said they needed authorization from #1 before they could set up appointment. Notified #1, also delivery co. notified #1 that they need the authorization. Still no word from #1. This stove was $946. It is sitting right in the middle of the kitchen waiting for someone to get it out of here.
Number1Appliances has me worried since they lied to us about delivery. When we got tired of waiting for shipment, we sent an email. They telephoned and said the appliances were loaded and on their way. I asked what state the appliances were coming from and they said "Missouri". Well, actually the appliances were on their way via truck to Indiana (opposite direction) to be loaded on a carrier to Colorado. Actual shipment was 8/28, arrived in Colorado in 3 days (8/31). Then it took 8 days to get from Denver area to Pueblo area.
Looking for help in getting our stove. #1 said they would not refund our money until they get the damaged stove in their warehouse, so we cannot buy elsewhere.
