Very rude and inconsiderate!
Contacted Nuvell regarding my GAP covearage on my vehicle since the company I made the purchase from has since gone under. I stayed on the phone for an hour and a half for them to constantly transfer me to Chevrolet Division ho has nothing to do with GAP. I even talked to reps at GMAC their mother company and has received no response. If you are looking for a company who is concerned this is not the one. Claming they don't know who has the GAP policy but I bet they better not contact me for any left over balances if something happens to this vehicle since the GAP insurance was also financed by them. These fools even transferred me to the dealership where I made the purchase after I had told them this busniness no longer exists!

Stay away
2 days late and in the last 2o mins have gotten 5 phone calls from Nuvell, name is Barbara, yeah right. Tell me another fat lie. Not stupid. To top it off, it was electronically del to Nuvell today and already deducted out of my checking account. Ask for a supervisor, no supervisor available, give you an 866 number to call, no help. Told the lady I am contacting a lawyer to see what I can do about the harassment calls, and be treated so rudely over the phone. I can't stand that there are so many americans out of work, and yet these big butted companies are outsourcing jobs for cheaper pay and poor quality work. And they wonder why the economy is in the state it is, they don't put back into this country only TAKE AWAY FROM OUR COUNTRY...

Harassment
1 day late and I recieve harassing phone calls at work and home. My boss is getting tired of the calls and not happy telling me to take care of it so it doesn't continue. The represenitive of Nuvell have badgered and yelled at me telling what a loser I am. 3-1/2 years I have only been late a couple of times this year because my wife got layed off from her job. But have always paid. You would think they wouldn't harass the people that pay. I know they have my payment record right in front of them.

Promises and deception
I requested a deferment on September 4th and was told by Nuvell to pay a $100 dollar fee. I was not told anything one way or the other if the deferment had been approved. Now I am being told to come up with 2 payment by November 5th or they are coming to pick up my truck. They are the most deceptive company I have ever had dealings with. Nuvell changed my account number also. Instead of telling the the truth that this new account number is because they are getting ready to pick my truck up, they lied to me and said that they were rearranging their company. Lies, Lies, Lies.

Terrible experience
You are right you cant get online half the time to pay your note. When you need help they act like you shouldn't be asking them. After Katrina when everyone else was setting payments up, they would not even talk about it . Nuvell charges a very high interest rate and will not work with you at all. Then when you call in you get these people that want to live in our country but dont want to speak english. I wont even talk to them I will ask for an english seaking person. One thing I cant understand them. The most aggrevating thing is getting online with them . And if you get a payoff today then make a note and get another payoff its higher than the last one you got. Can anyone explain that one to me . How you pay on something and instead of going down it goes up.

Fraudulent company
I had purchased a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 from a local automotive dealer. This transaction took place in June 2004. This was the first actual loan that I had taken out for a automobile and had limited credit. Nuvell financial was the bank that took on the deal with a interest rate of 18.9 %. Before taking on this burden I made sure to get approval that if all payments were made on time the interest rate would go down within a period of 1 year. I was told by the company that the rate would probably go down within 6 months, I would just have to call and make a request. So after 6 months of making payments directly on time I called nuvell up and requested a refi. They told me that they do not do refinancing. Then tried to make me feel highly of them for giving me the loan in the first place. So I did research on the company and found that they have a horrible rating with the BBB, and if you type in there name as a keyword online you get 2 items that tell who they are and 1, 000, 000 items that tell how bad this company is. I even spoke with the Vice president of the company after 1 year and all he told me was that the person that told me that was probably not with the company anymore and that he was sorry that he could not honor my request. So I figured that oh well, I better just pay it down and either sell it or sit on it and just learn from my mistakes. Well 4 years into the loan I remember looking at my statement and found that total amount due was still 12, 000. Mind you this is after paying on this loan for over 4 years. I bought the truck for 13, 900 out the door tax and all. So then I was very upset. I called and tried so many times to get a answer to no avail. No one with the company could explain to me how there mathematically shaft system works. They would just tell me it is what it is. So I tried the starting legal steps. I filed a complaint with the FTC, BBB and the Ohio attorney general. Well what do you think happened. NOTHING. I am one person trying to fight for my right against a big company. So then into October of 2008 I just called them and told them to pick up the truck. With the declining economy and nobody wanting to buy a gas guzzling pickup I could not sell it. They told me that they did not want it back and that I had to pay. I called them everyday and told them pick it up thru the entire month of October. Then the first week of November I got laid off from my job. I called and explained this to Nuvell and was told that they would work with me on this. That was on November 11th. On November 22nd when the payment was due I was told that the payment had to be made no matter what. I had 200 dollars to my name. I sent them 150.00 so I could spend the other amount on food for my family. I made this attempt every week and month but was not meeting the minimum 565.00 payment a month. Finally in February I started receiving the letters of intent to repo vehicle. I again called and told them to come and get it. They still wanted the money and not the truck. Meanwhile my buddy who had a vehicle financed by a local bank lost his job and was able to give the vehicle back. No ifs. ands or buts. So then the repo man came and took it. With all the fees, storage, sales cost, and added interests from the months no paid for the total they are asking for after it sold for 4, 000 in columbus was 14, 239.94. This was more than what I bought it for almost 5 years ago. This company needs to be stopped. This is one of those companies the you see on TV that are sucking the blood out of the american population. This is BS. I see post on a lot of other peoples post saying that if you would have just paid your bills it would have been fine. People that say "well I have been with them for 2 years and have never had a issue". To those of you I say wait. You will. I promise you that. You will return to this site and be saying sorry shortly.

Harassment
We have sent a notorized cease and decist letter to the company to stop calls to work, relatives, neighbors and friends. The calls still keep coming, what is left to do. We are tired of the harassing and horrible way they talk to an 83 year old person. I am tired of calls at work, I will soon lose my job. My friends and neighbors are tired of the way they are being talked to, nonbusiness people.
Don't these people have a conscience or are they trained to harass. There is one person that is really bad and horrible to talk to.

Scam artists
I have a tracfone that I bought from Wal-Mart, the very next day these jerks were calling. I realize they (tracfone) recycle phone numbers, but I have also told these people I am NOT who they are looking for. Do any good? NO! They call now more than ever and have the nerve to leave voicemail messages if I ignore them. They are just wasting my time. Does anyone know if I can get reimbursed for the used minutes through a lawyer? I am really at my wits end and could use the break. 12 calls in 3 days is a bit much for anyone!
Out of minutes!

Harrassment, Liars, Fraudulent against borrowers
My husband has been hospitalized three times in the last year for a work injury, acute pancreatitis/diabetes and he had an auto accident in February in which he became permanently paralyzed from the chest down. I called Nuvell each time to ask if they would work with us. Nothing! They call, harrass, threaten, lie. Our vehicle was totaled and the GAP insurance wouldn't cover the whole amt. because we got a two month extension after the work injury (which put him out of work for 2 months!) This is a permanent disability, and they lied to us. The insurance company paid their amt. which was short 2, 300 dollars the full amt. of loan. They called us in June, lied and said they wouldn't report it to collections. I just checked my credit and they reported it 120 days late in early MAY! We hadn't been sent any letter, warning, nothing. We didn't even know there was a balance until the call in June! This company sucks! They also lied and reported that we hadn't made our Feb. payment, but we did! We had the same situation as everyone else, poor credit from way back. Their company takes full advantage of those with a bad credit history. We paid our payment on time for 43 months straight! No kindnesses for an almost $600 payment, no lowering the interest rate, which was almost 12 percent! Crooks! Liars. Very bad business.
