Rude
IF I KNOW ANY BODY THAT IS TRYING TO GET A VEHICLE .I WILL MAKE IT MY BUSINESS NOT TO LET THEM GO WHAT IM GOING THROUGH, BY SIGNING WITH NUVELL CREDIT LLC.THAT IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, GETTO COMPANY I HAVE EVER HEARD OF!IM GOING THROUGH TOUGH TIMES LIKE A LOT OF AMERICANS RIGHT NOW.IF THEY DONT GET PAID WHEN THEY SAY TO PAY THEM, HARRASMENT IS NOT THE WORD.THEY TALK TO U LIKE A CHILD, CALL BACK TO BACK, HANG UP THE PHONE IN YOUR FACE, TRY TO LOUD TALK YOU ETC.THE LIST GOES ON AND ON.BUT WHAT IM TRYING TO DO IS SAVE SOMEBODY ELSE HEART ACHE AND PAIN!IM MAKEING A LAW SUITE!

Harrassment Calls to References
I am late on my payments and I do know I owe them and am doing the best I can. My husband's job had gone thru a year of not paying well and so we've been making due with my income on bills. We now have a better income and are doing the best we can to get caught up but they keep hounding us. They do call 15+ times a day on cell, home and have now also added in calling the References we "HAD" to list on our application when we applied for the auto loan. These people have nothing to do with our loan and have no reason to also be subjected to their harrassing telephone calls! I have gotten the calls stopped at work as that is a violation of my company's policy so they were required by law to stop calling me there (thank god!). Absolutely the rudest collection agency and people I've ever dealt with and will NEVER EVER accept a loan if they are the offering agency.

truck paid off-getting calls/bills
On 11/08/08, I traded my Ford truck at Suzuki in Tifton GA. The financial person called Nuvell to obtain the payoff for the trade. Confirmed that they were paying off the remainder of the loan from Nuvell.
My payments were never late and were for more than the amount, EVERY month. Payments were due on the 28th each month.
I am now getting harrassing phone calls and letters from Nuvell, stating that I am behind on my payments, my credit will be affected, and collections proceedings will take place.
This is the only time I will respond to this insanity.
My attorney can handle any further discussions.

Bad Business Dealings
I have a loan through Nuvell--I have paid well--never late once in 2 years. I recently went on Maternity leave earlier than expected and contacted the company to make arrangements. I informed them that I had planned on working 2 months longer--but had complications and had to go into the hospital much earlier than expected. I wanted to ask about getting my payment deferred. I called 3 days before my payment was due and spoke to 2 people--I was told that for the month of October--they were unable to do any further deferrment requests--but due to my excellent payment history and credit score--I would have no problem getting the deferrment approved--just call back the beginning of November. (By the way--I have always paid more than the amount due--so actually I shouldn't even owe the October payment--but they said they couldn't due that--it was already applied to the principle.) I called back on November 3rd--my payment was due the 26th--and according to the man I spoke with the 1st time--I had a 16 day grace period. On the 3rd--they said they would submit the request--no problem--it would take 2 days to process. 2 days later I receive my 1st phone call--my payment is now 8 days late--they ask me if I am going to make my payment--I explain the situation--and they say--oh--your request was denied. I say--why--oh well you have a good history and aren't late enough yet on your payment. I ask to speak to a manager--they say no--call back next week. I hung up--called right back and finally got a hold of a manager--who tells me that she will handle it from here--no worries--that she can't do the deferrment until November 20th--but she will approve it then--in the mean time--I should not get anymore calls. Today is November 19th--I am going to call tomorrow--and I have gotten 58 phone calls since I talked to that manager on November 3rd--to my cell phone. The have also called my home--17 times, and my work--not sure how many times exactly there--they don't leave a message. I have talked to a few reps and explained I am working w/a manager--but they don't care--they are rude and ugly to me. I will refinance next year and never use Nuvell again. This is an absolutly horrible company to do business with.

harrassment and mistreatment
Nuvell has harrassed and harrassed me - I had to pay my payment at the end of the month - the 25th for the first two years of the loan - I paid the same every month it was a few days past the due date. They called me at work - called me a bitch - called my family etc. It was horrible - I managed to get ahead one month on the payment - and they still manage to treat me like shit. I've paid 2 weeks early for years now - and I called and asked if I could skip a payment - I was told I had to call back on my due date - so I called back - and they said their new policy is NO! They said I had plenty of time to make the payment (you know that day). They are awful - I told the lady I hate dealing with this fucking company (cause I was mad). She said could you repeat that - which I did - and she said I was in trouble now - honesty is a crime at Nuvell apparently. I can't believe a Ford company sold me a car and financed to such a horrible company - it's been really awful - I hate the car now - and will never buy another Ford - because of it. And tell everyone do not use Nuvell - you will regret it. There is something not right about this company

RUDE, Nasty, And yes they lie
They will call you "as much as we want" They are only allowed to call you once a day by law. I have spoke to a "manager" named Cuomo and another who's name I can not think of at the moment. They will use every lie on you they will cancel payments and remake them on days they want. In Florida a verbal contract is law. The will tell you if they do not change it they will come take the car. This is the worst of the worst This person I talked to will start by calling you dawg. Hello I am not your friend so wtf. They are not a good co. if you have to get a car and they are the only way call someone else or get a bike. This company is TROUBLE...

Harassing the wrong person
Nuvell is harassing me and they have the wrong person! It seem there is someone at my company with the same name. So when the revolving door of Nuvell collectors call the company’s switch board, they are routed to me and usually leave a moderately threatening message regarding a past due payment. When I phone them back and leave specific instructions to contact the correct person, they apologies and swear it won’t happen again. 30 days later, I receive another call from the newest Nuvell collector with the same harassing message.
My advice to anyone reading this post is avoid these guys like the plague unless you can endure lots of calls and possibly misdirected calls to coworkers with no right to know about your business dealings

Bad lender!
This is for anyone considering an auto loan through Nuvell. My experience with Nuvell has been bad. Nuvell is a wholly owned subsidiary of GMAC. That’s right the company that owns the car you are trying to purchase owns the finance company that the dealer has set you up with. And isn’t that convenient for GMAC? The red flag should go up here, but the dealer tells you that your credit is just so bad that the best interest rate they could get for you is through Nuvell. News flash! The GMAC dealer gets financial advantages when they can bully someone into using a GMAC finance company. Don’t fall for it. Find credit someplace else.
I have approximately one year left on my car loan payments with Nuvell. I am a current Nuvell borrower for a Saturn ION. My payments are $300 a month! In the past several years I have learned that they will stop at nothing to contact you if you are even 3 days late making a payment. They will call your work phone number, your friends and family that you listed as “emergency contacts” on your loan application and they will call you at home. They will call any of these places as many as 15 times a day. This is no exaggeration. They will even call as “unknown name unknown number” from time to time just incase you are screening their phone calls I suppose. They will go even further than this… keep reading.
A few years ago, in the middle of my divorce I was laid off from my job. How unlucky is that? Naturally having children who need to eat I fell behind on a few of my monthly payments with my creditors. Nuvell began harassing me. I stopped answering my telephone when I saw their name or “unknown name unknown number” pop-up on the caller ID to avoid their bullying. But all the harassing phone calls were nothing compared to what they did next. I was living in a second story apartment at the time. Below me lived an elderly couple. The man had served in World War II to give you an idea of the age range. Nuvell looked up my neighbor’s name and phone number in the phonebook. They called and had that elderly man walk up the stairs to the second floor apartments to tell me to call Nuvell. I guess they got my attention with that one, because I did talk to them and boy did they get an earful. How tacky!
I am a 36 year old professional. Throughout the years I have had an ebb and flow in the area of finances. I have been divorced and remarried. I have been laid off from jobs and I have experienced poor credit ratings as a result of bad things and bad timing. Life happens. Things are sometimes bad and sometime great for us all. But no matter how life is treating you today you should never have to use a company like Nuvell no matter what the dealership tells you about your credit score. There are other finance options and I encourage you to take the time to shop around and save yourself the grief you will experience using a harassing, law ignoring, interest rate gouging company like Nuvell. Using GMAC’s Nuvell is like going directly to the bill collector to get the loan. They give you no grace period and have no patience. They will destroy your credit and at the same time gouge you for higher interest rates than you deserve to pay. Don’t fall for it. Go to a different dealer if they refuse to run your credit with another, non-GMAC company. You have rights, do not make the same mistake I made.
