PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT HAVE NUVELL/NATIONAL AUTO FINANCE COMPANY finance ANYTHING for you. This is the worst finance company I have ever seen. I bought a fairly new car from a dealership in Atlanta in 2008. When the economy went down, I was laid off and needed a lower car payment. I call National Auto on a number of occasions to see if I was able to send get refinanced for a lower car payment. Mind you, this was in late 2009 which means I had the car for over a year. All of the customer service reps were RUDE as ever and they did not allow me to get refinance. I explained to them that I could not afford to continue making that high payment however I did not want my car repossessed. They did not car and demanded me to send in $475.00 a month as my payment. After a few months of only sending them $350.00 or $380.00 they harassed me about sending the total amount due, which I did not have. After been harassed by them on a HOURLY BASIS, I told them I wanted to do a voluntarily repossession. When I mentioned that, they changed the story up and ask me if I could have the total amount due in about 3 mths. Once I said no, they came to pick up my car. I hate to have that on my credit report but they were not trying to work with me when I got laid off. IF YOU GO INTO A CARDEALERSHIP AND THEY OFFER TO FINANCE YOUR LOAN THROUGH NATIONAL AUTO FINANCE RUN RUN RUN OUT OF THE DEALERSHIP OR ASK FOR ANOTHER FINANCIAL INSTITUTION! Credit unions are the best to use!
