These people are crazy. My credit card is stolen and these people send me an email that I have ordered this thing and they want to charge me shipping when I refused the delivery. The person that stole the card was a member of the family and was not authorized to make purchases. The product was intercepted and sent back, but they are sending me nasty emails saying that I still owe them almost 100.00. What a marketing scam. I am posting this on facebook. I do not ever buy from infomercials because they always try to sell you things and run up your bill. Then they say that they are giving you free things when you are actually paying for them. I learned that lesson a long time ago. What is the world coming to. Telemarketers, Leave me alone!!!

I just went to the Nuwave Oven site and was so excited to order. While the order process was going through I tried to use the back button to change something I did not want. BAD MOVE. page expired and I was half way through the order! So, then I went back into the site, thinking well the order was not completed, so it shouldnt be a problem. (Yes *** me already gave the credit card number!!!) So I proceeded to start the order process again, as I couldnt find a "cart" to make any changes or complete my order. I went through this process and finally (after several added product attempts that were supposedly "free" but pay s & h) the shipping charges at the end were not stated. VERY DECEITFUL! Then I checked my email to find that the first attempt to order actually went through!! So now I have 2 ovens on order!!! AND they have close to $500 of my money!! I am so upset I am sick to my stomach. The infomercial says "3 payments of 39$ " Yeah. They dont tell you about the extra items that you have to close to 40$ for "shipping and handling" This was definitely an eye opener for me to stick to the websites I trust! Amazon has never done me wrong..I'll stick with them. I tried to call the number to cancel. The woman said she only takes orders not cancelling them, and of course the company is not open on Saturday. I am so upset, but only have myself to blame! I know this! So, dont order from the site...try to find it on Amazon... :) Hope someone learns from me! :)

I was so excited about this product when I saw it on tv. It seemed so affordable, too. HA! Don't fall for that trap. I am NOT new to online shopping. I do probably 75% of our non-grocery shopping online. The online site does NOT give a confirmation or review page. You end up with an emailed invoice without confirming the purchase. I immediately called the 888 number in the email. I was assured my order would be cancelled. Well, it wasn't. My account was just charged a crazy amount, and my account is going to bounce when my car payment of $500 goes through. I wish I would've saw these reviews of the unethical scamming from this company before I ever went to their site. Lesson learned.

I was able to obtain a tape of the transaction that took place between the call center at Nu Wave and my 100 year old father. The call lasted for 11 minutes and 44 seconds. After listening to the tape, it is clear that she never should have taken his order. Of that 11 minutes, only about 2 minutes were spent explaining the ordering proces. The rest of the time he engaged her in conversation. It should have been clear that he was enjoying the conversation and the ordering was secondary.

He clearly stated at the beginning of the conversation that he was 100 years old and wanted to order the Nu wave oven with the fewest number of items that went with it. It was clearly obvious from the tape that he had difficulty hearing and understanding what Stacey was telling him.

At no time was he told the price of the oven itself with s/h.

2 "fre"e twisters with a shipping and handling fee of $24.50 were included.

A pizza kit was added which was "free" with a s/h fee of $29.95 .

She never mentioned the s/h fee for the oven.

He was told there was a 90 day money back guarantee.

She did NOT mention that the s/h fee of approx. $84.00 was NOT refundable.

Since it was obvious that she was dealing with someone who was very old, hard of hearing and unclear on exactly what he was ordering, she should have declined to take his order. I think this company preys on the old and ***.

He also told her that he had a vision problem. He was told that the oven was very easy to use. In fact, a warning that the oven is extremely hot was embossed on the lid. Not good for someone who is legally blind. Also, the oven did not fit on the counter, so tipping would have been a major hazard.

We returned the oven, at a cost of around $24.00 shipping. Which now brings it to over $100.00 for no product. Yes, we have two twisters and a pizza kit. None of which he needs and all of which he specifically stated he didn’t want.

This is a total ripoff! They promised to return out call. It has been two months. We are unable to reach anyone by phone or email.

This company's official website requires you to give them your credit card number first, before allowing any of the ordering process to begin. It states you are NOT to hit the back button at any time. Once in the ordering process, if you decline the "free" items you get a "second" chance at half the first cost, or even less. The "Free Items" are actually $29.99 EACH, therefore NOT free at all. The advertised product states it is $39.99 times 3 payments, plus S/H. After ordering the oven and the extender ring; and the free pizza kit, my S/H was $79.99 which is outrageous. This is NOT any kind of deal and it leaves you feeling robbed. Once you reach the confirmation page of the order, it is TOO LATE to make any changes, your order has been sent. After reading through the Internet, canceling the order will be futile as they will send it anyway and charge you. To get a "FULL" refund, you must pay the $79.99 to ship it back! This is a total scam and I will def. be contacting the BBB.
