Greetings,
My mother worked for housing for 15 years or more. She was hospitalized for a month. She passed away a day after her birthday.which was Oct.3, 2006. Her death was not expected so there was no time for her to place my children & I back on her lease. Since her demise I have been in court constantly. The last time I went to court the judge gave me two weeks to vacate the premises. This is shameful & totally disgraceful how family members of a veteran of The New York City Housing Authority is being done. I signed a court stipulation to vacate April 30, 2008. I didn't have no place to go so I paid May & June rent. It was accepted by housing. I now have a marshals notice that I have to take back to court. I have application on file with N.Y.C.H.A. It's no telling how long that takes for that to come through. These apartments are very expensive
