Last week I received an email informing me that my Email ID won a total of 1, 000, 000 GBP Sterling from O2 (Ozone Telecommunication) year end draw (Dec. 2009). Indicated in the email was the Batch number, Reference Number and the Winning Number . Then I was requested to provide soem personal details for identification and later was asked to contact DHL. I was informed by supposed DHL executive that the parcel containing the winning check, winning certificate and several other certificates in support of the winning funds. However according to him they can only dispatch the package after I have made payments amounting to GBP 780.00 which will take care of shipment, tax and other charges. Worse they want the payment thru MONEY GRAMM OR WESTERN UNION and receiver is a person. Worse, if I can not complete claim within 2 weeks, then automatically I forfeit the winnings.

There are several reasons why I suspect a scam. Can O2 (Ozone Telecommunication) confirm immediately if this is indeed true or a scam please..
