unauthorized charge on ATT phone bill
I have been mysteriously charged an extra $15.85 by OAN Services, Inc on my AT&T residential phone bill for the month of Sept. 2009. I have never heard of OAN Services until now and would NEVER have any reason to use them. Apparently they are scamming lots of other people unknowingly.

Unauthorized charge - verizon part of it
OAN Services and Verizon are partners in fraud
This is the second month I am seeing charges of 14.95 that I did not authorize; I don't what this charge is for, I am not aware of the service they provide and even if the turn the sky orange I have no use of it;
Okay agreed OAN is a bullshit company, OAN is a fraud company but why is Verizon sleeping with them, why should then allow for some company to charge the Verizon billing, this beats me.
Becareful of both Verizon and OAN Services
Check your bill and these cock suckers even one dime
People are working so hard to stay in their jobs lot of honest people don't have jobs and here is fine fraud raking up millions of dollars.
Even if called them and cancelled the service on their books they can show millions of customers and obtain credit to commit other fraud, this is a wonderful ponzi scheme by Verizon and OAN
Watch out!!

Charged my phone bill
This company has charged my AT&T phone bill for $24.33 without authorization. I have no idea what the charges are for. I called them and they said it was for something other than phone calls, I didn't get any understanding of what the charges were for, they couldn't explain to me what it was for. I will report to the PSC and the Attorney General.

False Biling
Verizon billed me $7.50 for a fraudulent claim by OAN Services. Inc.
This is a repeat ocurence even though Verizon supposedly blocked this account,
Shame on Verizon for being a collection agent for a known scam. Just check on Google!

unauthorized billing on home phone
3 months ago a fee of $14.95 showed up on my home phone AT&T bill. It was from OAN services, supposedly for an email service monthly fee for a "signature Mrkt news." I have no idea what this is and certainly didn't order it. When I try to call the OAN phone number it says the extension is unavailable. I spoke with an AT&T agent who took the charges off for 2 months and tried to get in touch with OAN but said that ultimately I would have to speak with OAN which so far has been impossible. Why is this company allowed to get away with this? What is our recourse?

Unauthorized Billing on my Phone Bill
I received a charge on my phone bill for $14.95 for services I didn't order and don't use. When I called them, they claimed we'd ordered it on a certain date and time, which was impossible, because we were at a farm for an Octoberfest. I think these guys are no good and are up to no good.

Phone billing
I received a phone bill with a 12.10 charge for a monthly service fee from E-Secure Services. I did not authorize it and have been unable to contact them over the weekend (and probably ever!!) I do not know what OAN Services, Inc. is, but Verizon tells ME to contact them. How can they let it get on the bill without authorization? Is it them?

Shady business practices
On my 23 Sep 2008 AT & T statement there was a charge for $29.90 labeled "Enhanced Services" and $14.95 labeled "OAN Services, Inc". AT&T advised me that they did not originate with AT&T, but were included because FCC required AT&T to include on their statement the charges submitted to them by other (communication Co's?) firms. I called a phone # given me by AT&T and have received a credit for $14.95 but after calling the second phone and receiving assurances that a credit had been issued, "but it takes 2 or 3 billing cycles for them to be applied."
AT&T permitted non-payment for one month, but must be paid the next month. This obviously works against the consumer and FCC should require advance permission for billing in this manner. The Enhanced Services were reportedly for 'Tech Support' and the 'OAN Services' were supposedly for email service. I didn't need either as AT&T and AOL provide all the tech service I need for the internet and AOL provides email service.
A consumer is at the mercy of all vendors. I have had erroneous charges on my credit card three times in one month after making purchases on the internet. If hackers can breech the Defense Dept computers, it ought to be a 'walk' to get info on the internet. There should be monitoring of the internet by the government to spot fraudulent practices just as they police the internet for porn and child molesters. Credit Card companies are not too helpful in getting charges corrected. To me, they should take the cardholders word and not continue to accept repeated charges, but apparently they have no way of taking back fraudulent payments.
Certainly there should be laws that can be used to prosecute when fraud or 'shady' business practices are used or proven.

unauthorized charges to phone
Contacted OAN Services re unauthorized charges to AT&T bill. Said it would take 1-2 billing cycles to remove. Contacted AT&T stating I refused to pay these unauthorized charges. Also contacted and filed complaints with: FTC, Mississippi PSC, Consumer Protection, and Better Business Bureau of Clearwater. Received a call back from Mississippi PSC advising they were in contact with AT&T. They also advised I could pay AT&T less the disputed charge. Then I received confirmation from AT&T today they were issuing an adjustment for the $16.84 disputed charge. I am keeping all emails in case this disputed charge appears on my next bill. Thanks to other emails advising who to contact regarding a complain. It certainly helped in my case.
