My husband is an avid coin collector. On 12/14/08, he called me to let me kow there would be a charge for some Obama coins so I wouldn't be surprised when I checked the bank account. I didn't see the charges right away but thought nothing of it Today I received a phone call from Bank of America noting unusal activity and to call and check my charges. Starting the 15th, we started having unusual charges, purchases for disney world tickets, 2 $100 gift cards for Starkbucks, furniture purchased at William Sonoma, etc. All charges were made on-line. I researched the information for the coin and found out we are not the only victims of this activity. Also my husband ordered one set of coins but we are being charged over $300 and it indicates that he ordered 10 sets of coins (the coin limit of course). Please be aware of this scam. We have over $2K in charges from someone using the credit card numbers. What a horrible time of year to be without that money.
