This insurance company denied the payment of benefits.
when driving my car, insuranced under this company, while visiting from dominican republic my in 2007 my wife had an accident hitting two other vehicles, the accident was her fault. the reason for the denial according to them(ocean harbor) was because in one of the documents i signed when first got the policy, a question asked if my wife had a drivers license from the us and i said no because she had a license from dominican republic and as a tourist she could use that one while visiting the country.
they use that semantic barrier of a miss written document to denied payments for the damage caused to the other cars, i got a lawyer and he started working on the case but i was paying him 200 dollars per hour and couldnt use him more i made a payment agreement with geico( insurance company for one of the other drivers) and paid them after they threath me with taking away my license, i was despered and cuouldnt find a pro bono lawyer to help me.
Now almost 3 years after that the other insurance company is calling me asking for 12000 dollars in damages, jejejejej nice now what am i going to do?
