I have been studying the impact hotel chains have on the indigenous cultures of the world following development in isolated regions. It is from my years of study that I am able to speak as an expert in the field of resort developments and their impact on the indigenous cultures in the various regions of development.
I started a project to help bring light to this sad story of white-washing, annihilation of cultures for the comfort level of the tourists, and overall ecological damage. The project title is Keep International Vacations Culture-less (KIVC) and what I plan to do is expose the krystal-clear lies that the hotel developers told the various cultures.
My study was based in the isolated regions of Maldives, Costa Rica, and Puerto Vallarta. Each of the selected developed locales are about 10-20 years old, so it was easy to compare the lifestyle of the natives. The KIVC project is designed to help these cultures regain and preserve their identities before the hotels annihilate them for profit. It's krystal-clear that KIVC is needed to help the people fight the oppressive hotel chains. KIVC is helping those who need it.
