Horrible Company
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I agree with the other person when you have been behind in your payments they will not accept anything but the full amount. They are NOT willing to work with you on a payment plan or anything regardless of your situtation. Now they are charging me 102.00$ for a home valuation (whatever that is) and when I ask what it is and for proof that it was even done, they refuse to show it to me. I am not going to pay for anything that you can show me proof of. That to me is just adding on fees to get extra money. This company would rather have the house forclose than to work with you which in turn will NOT benefit them at all. I can never get someone in the united states who can actually understand and answer my questions. Our mortgage loan industry is horrible..they sell loans to these crazy not up to standard companys and the US comsumer is paying the price. I am at the point of willing to let my house go just to get away from this company and not let them make anymore money off me.

Thieves
Briefly, my issues started when I wrote out a check for my house payment and they cashed it for a lesser amount. From there on it was a fight, within in 3 months, I was 2 payments behind. soon after that the house was in forbearence, I caught the house up, then within 4 months I was 6 months behind. I tried to explain their mistakes and work with Ocwen but they were unreasonable. they even went as far as sending me through the channels to which every persons name I had was on leave till further notice. Ocwen even sent out loan modifications that had a date the modification was written, a two week date for acceptance, then it was mailed out after their date for acceptance, nice and convenient. In February 2009 my house was sold back to the bank. I hope they lose everything!

Too eager to foreclose
It's impossible to reach Ocwen by phone. You just get lost in the voicemail maze. Ocwen calls me every morning at 5:30 a.m. and I keep telling them to call me during regular business hours and to note my timezone. I'm getting nowhere with them. I'm trying to prevent my home from going into foreclosure but they do everything within their power to escalate the process by ignoring faxes and phone calls from me and calling me at dawn. If anybody knows about a class action suit against Ocwen, please let me know.

Loan Mod
Thank you Ocwen for lying to me about my mortage loan. Using the Obama Loan Mod as your solution, when nothing about your modification has to do with HAMP. I read all about the HAMP. You stated that my loan increased and a letter was sent addressing my increase, but when I addressed you about it you had no facts, never recieved a copy of the letter (both times I asked for one), congratuated me on a modification that is currently 150 dollars more than my current mortage. You guys are SCUM!!! Hope you are happy taking a family out of their home.

Refusing payments/foreclosure
We were behind for December, January, and February's payments. We sent the payments in, but now they are refusing them. They say they are planning to send them back. It originally totaled $2200.00 but now they are wanting $3666.00. According to their letter of reinstatement that amount will cover until 5/1/11. Why are they wanting us to pay ahead to reinstate? Our March payment isn't due until the 15th. Is this letter of reinstatement going to hold up? We have an attorney and this what she requested we do. My husband is having major brain surgery on March 22. I don't want to throw good money away and still be out of our house. Please help us!

Wrong Tax Information and Credit Reporting Inaccuracy
I sold my house and paid the mortgage off to HomEq in May, 2010. HomEq no longer exists. The records were transferred to Ocwen. I received my credit reports thinking they would show the loan as closed. No, the reports show the mortgage loan as still outstanding with Ocwen. When I called Ocwen to update my credit reports they have no information on my closed account. In the meantime, my credit reports show the $65, 000 lien on my reports. Then I received a 1099C - Cancellation of Debt of $3, 252 from Ocwen. The sale of the house was completely settled and I should not have received this Cancellation of Debt. Again, when I call Ocwen to correct their records and to rescind the 1099C, I get no where. There is no information in their system about my paid of loan. I even called the Ocwen's CEO and all the office did was connect me to an associate in India who could do absolutely nothing for me as my account number and information doesn't exists in their database. This is a complete nightmare! Who has my records? Who sent me the wrong tax informaiton?

I also have been a receiver of Ocwen's unethical practices. I am interested in joining anyone that wants to pursue a class action against this company. I have also written to my Federal Representatives to at least get this company in front of the Congressional Banking Committee, I am also gathering information to submit to any television investigative reporter. Rude and uncooperative CS person
I called CS because I did not recieve a statement this month. After 15 minutes on hold I was told it was mailed 1/11, then rudely asked when my Feb. 2011 payment would be sent.
The rude and obnoxious CS rep refused to send me another statement and asked again and again when I would send in my payment.
I have been with Ocwen for 5 years and never have missed or been late with a payment, yet they treated me like crap!!!
I will do all I can to rid myself of this scum when I next refinance!!!
