I had a home that my sale agent spent over 125 hours trying to get a short sal approved. Just two weeks before the closing te house burnt down. I immediatly called Ocwen to find out what to do. After many frustrating hours on the phone I fnally got to the right person. I sent Ocwen a check in early Dec. from the Insurance Company. This check was recieved on Dec. 18th 2009. I contacted the Hazard Loss Dept @ Ocwen in early Oct. to discuss refinancing the balace on the loan. I then contacted the Loan Retention Dept @ this. This wholetimethinking everyone @ Ocwen is doing their job. WRONG! No one did their job. I found out on Jan 25th 2010 that my property wasscheduled for foreclosure on Feb 2 2010. This was all happening with out my knowledge. See at this time I still believed that Ocwen staff was doing their job. Once I contacte Ocwen it took me no less than 2 hours on phone to find out nothing. I recieved a call @ 4:45pm on Jan 28th 2010 from Ocwen saying their was an affidative I needed to sigh and have it back to them (Notorized) by 5:00 pm in ordr to have my loan reinstated. What? I got this done though. Remember Ocwen rcieved a ckeck for 271k on Dec 18th 2009 that I thought was already applied to my loan. After all this jumping through hoops on my behalf I still recieved a call from Ocwen on Jan 30th 2010 saying my loan was in default. Upon calling them back I found out that the funds from the insurance company; that I thought originally got applied to my morage in Dec. and again on Jan 28th still had not been applied to my account. This isonly three days before the foreclosure and Ocwen still hasn't done it's job. How is it that hard working, voting Americans can be treated like trash like this with absolutly no recourse against them. These companies do business with ZERO reguard to the customer and the customer's well being. Ye or elected officials continue to help and praise the banking industry. With out all us Hard working, Tax Paying Citizens there would not be a banking industry or Mortage Industry. I think the Mortage Company GREED still cosumes their every breath. Have they forgot who "BROUGHT THEM TO THIS DANCE !" I would apprciate any help I can get resolving this matter and holding Ocwen accountable for their actions. If this were a small time bank the FDIC would hve shut them down already.
