O.D.M Designs USA
Is a company that sells watches, you can purchse these watches in the malls, or buy directly from them
On their web site they had a watch listed that all you had to pay was the shipping. I purchased two, and paid the shipping my credit card was charged. I received the confirmation email, stating I will receive my order in 2 - 5 business days. A few hours later I got an email from them stating, their was an issue with my credit card, and the cost of the watch was not charged just the shipping. That's sooo not true, because their web site advertised only pay for shipping. They wanted me to authorize another $143 to get these items. I wrote to them stating, no there was no issue with my credit card, it was charged exactly what they had advertised and I have the confirmation email. Then they came back and said well then there was some error, if you want the item its another $143, I wrote back to them and said this was false advertisement you lure us in with this great deal, charge my credit card and then come back and say oh if you want this you need to pay another $143. BTW their website still shows the same deal, free watch just pay shipping. I have now been fighting with them for a few days and they won't send it without additional money that was never disclosed until after the fact. This is crazy, how can a company do this??
So unsatisfied it's not even funny...
I have even sent them the definition of false advertisement
False Advertisment
Advertisements that contain representations that are false, misleading, or deceptive are illegal under state and federal laws. To be found guilty of false advertising, it must be shown that the advertisement was deceptive in nature. Proof that the ad actually harmed anyone is not important. Moreover, the intentions of the advertiser are irrelevant, including if the false or deceptive advertisement was a mistake.
I have erased all my confidentional information from the confirmation page
