Offerwire ripped me off! I ordered a D-Link wireless router and modem from Comcast THROUGH Offerwire.
First, the wirless router is a piece of JUNK! My laptop was buffering every video and my download speeds were horrible. After a couple of days trouble shooting with Comcast, I ended up giving it away and buying a Linksys Wireless-G (amazing).
Anyway, Offerwire makes you wait two months (need two consecutive bill statements), cut out the actual UPC cope like a box of cereal, and copy your Comcast order. THEN, 8 weeks later I only receive the modem rebate. I call and ask what happened to the router rebate. Apparently they couldn't read account number on the first bill statement (installation bill on yellow copy paper). Hmm, it was the SAME copy I used for the modem rebate! They decide to read one rebate and not read the other. Okay, this seems simple. I say, "Can't you just copy the number from the other rebate? Problem solved, right?" They say they can't access that info. Okay, I'll just read you the number and you can send me out the rebate. Nope. There is no way to talk to someone to who can input that information. I was told to RE-MAIL the same information and wait another 6 weeks. Also, I had only two weeks to re-mail it. I spaced it and lost the rebate.
Long story short, Comcast has terrible partners. D-Link wireless routers perform poorly.And, Offerwire is incompetent and steals your money.
