Just finished filling a complaint on the BBB against this company. I purchased a printer at the Office Depot a couple months ago, also bought the "Replacement Plan". My printer was broken so instead of allowing me to go to their store to get a "replacement" they tell me to ship my printer. Two weeks later I get a gift card for "$50" - when I paid $69.99 for the printer plus ink, plus tax!
Well, now with $50 what kind of printer can I get? Definitely not the same one, since it was on sale. Now I am stuck with a gift card from a store that I will never purchase from again, and that I would have to supplement with extra money in order to buy a printer.
I called and told them I wanted a replacement! Not money back! If they are advertising "replacement plan" than offer a replacement.
They said that they would send the difference of $19.99 within 7 to 10 days!
Guess what I have been without a printer now for almost one month.
Now I will use this card for what?
I will go get my printer at best buy- a company that DOES REPLACE YOUR ITEMS!
