treatment of employees
Olanmills photography is a piece of crap company. They treat their employees like crap. I am so glad my wife quit. She was the manager at the tuscaloosa store her district manager D lewis thinks that no employee has a life but her. She lies and treats her employees with no respect at all, maybe her boss should do the math and see the real reason why people keep on quitting, but she will probably say they were just lazy and didn't want to work but the real reason is her. I think everyone should boycott olan mills they suck. My wife worked there for 7 years and only made 10.50 an hour and cut out all commission or so d lewis says. They also hire in second photographers at a higher pay rate and also expect them to split the managers bonus as well. I remember when Olan Mills used to be a reputable company but now they are no better than Wal-Mart portrait studio. So, open your eyes, and realize that if you treat your employees with just alittle respect and not yell at them in front of other employees or customers, your employees will go that extra mile to stand up for a company that believes in them instead of always putting them down. One last note, how can you consider yourself a "family" portrait studio when you could care less about your employees families? They don't even recognize a death of a parent as a good reason to have at least 3 days off especially when it happens to fall on a weekend. Of course this will just be looked at as a mad husband of 1 ex employee. Just google Olan Mills complaints or rate this job and you will see it's just not me, it's the same thing going on everywhere. Thank you!
