Oliver Transport JERRY L OLIVER JerryOliver lost his authority... is a fraud and is still transporting illegally as per the federal laws with NO min. required $750, 000 commercial cargo insurance in force with the Gov to be legal. Thats no protection for your cargo, (Gov Proof below)...NO DOT, MC and ICC #S and not displayed on the side of your owned or leased legal trucks like all legal commercial trucks must running DOT hrs & log books. You need proper government authority to transport for hire and to be legal. You have not. We have filed against him. Do not use this guy or the many other non legals that state they are insured or legal it will cost you in the long run. When he gets pulled over by any law enforcement or go over required scales or at state lines driver will the arrested and fined and your load will be impounded and towed to DOT storage and get fees/fines and require a legal transporter with DOT / MC #s with commercial insurance to remove it with proper certification after all fines & fees have been paid.
BEWARE, He is illegal and there is no protection with this hauler.
Here is the site to check this info on anyone transporting>>

I would hope you wouldn't risk allowing someone without commercial cargo insurance with legal authority per FMCSA haul your hard earned possessions ...You would think twice if your cargo got impounded by police/DOT stuck in who knows where because he is not legal or worse in an accident damaging it or never delivering... theft... You would lose it all with a total loss to you and cost you much more in the end or just an I owe you. He is also taking jobs from the legal carriers protecting their customers. Would you want a garage tech to do a heart transplant? I hope you understand. Have a good day and protect your investments.
The US DOT number:
Companies that operate commercial vehicles transporting passengers or hauling cargo in interstate commerce must be registered with the FMCSA and must have a USDOT Number. Also, commercial intrastate hazardous materials carriers who haul quantities requiring a safety permit must register for a USDOT Number. The USDOT Number serves as a unique identifier when collecting and monitoring a company’s safety information acquired during audits, compliance reviews, crash investigations, and inspections.
The MC number:
In general...
Companies that operate as “for hire” carriers (for a fee or other compensation) that transport passengers or federally regulated commodities, or arrange for their transport, in interstate commerce are also required to have interstate operating authority.
The Reach of Operating Authority
FMCSA operating authority is also referred to as an "MC, " "FF, " or "MX" number, depending on the type of authority that is granted. Unlike the USDOT Number application process, a company may need to obtain multiple operating authorities to support its planned business operations. Operating Authority dictates the type of operation a company may run, the cargo it may carry, and the geographical area in which it may legally operate.
Now if the truck you're getting is owned by someone else, you're in a whole different ball game. It would have to be leased to your company by the owner. You would become the lessee and the person owning the truck would be the lessor. As the operating motor carrier, you'll be responsible and liable the same as if you owned the truck and the driver would be the same as a company employed driver.
You can't just allow someone to run their trucks under your authority without a written lease and required $750, 000 commercial cargo insurance in force with the Gov to be legal.
All trucks operated under your motor carrier company must be covered under your motor carrier company's insurance policy. You must keep the appropriate company records for all equipment operated and all drivers operating them. The New Entrant safety audit, normally conducted within a few weeks after your authority is activated, will examine the company records. If your records do not contain the mandated records, you'll be out of service until they're corrected. I would recommend you visit this website for more information on the New Entrant Program.

As I've said numerous times in the past, the driving of the truck is a small part of operating a motor carrier company. Running the company correctly is what keeps you out of trouble and lets you continue to operate.
Thanks for the question and I hope I've answered it for you. If not please feel free to submit a follow up question.
There is another website you may find of interest. The "Stop Illegal Trucking" website can be found at http://www.stopillegaltrucking.com/
Check out the organization's mission statement and purpose. From there you can click on the red stop sign and go to their forums. The forum has a topic named "GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS IN THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY" where a lot of information has been posted that may be of interest to you. You can visit the website as a guest and read only the topics in the forum. Registering as a member takes only a few seconds and there are no fees or charges of any kind. Registering allows you to participate in the discussions, ask questions, and post information helpful to other members. You'll meet a lot of folks that operate small motor carrier companies similar to you. There you can learn from their experiences and maybe it will help avoid some mistakes made by others. As one of the co-founders, I extend a personal invitation to you and others to join our cause to elevate the awareness of the safety and economic issues caused by illegal trucking on our nation's highways. I hope to see you there.
We are looking for others that have had taken (damages, unreturned deposits for hauls never completed or otherwise) by these rouge haulers and for their posts then we forward them all, along with yours to the FMCSA, DOT, FCC, FBI cyber Crime and to the Attorney General's Office for possible additional criminal and civil charges. Here are a couple of the sites for more info. http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/ www.FBI.gov/about-us/investigate/cyber/cyber
We are informed of such actions and we look into them and are filing against bad and illegal haulers and letting your and my fellow Americans know to be aware of their crimes, problems and illegal and otherwise to protect them from being a victim of these crimes. Cargo gets impounded daily by the DOT for non compliance and these customers and parties that pay a good price thinking they are legal and legit then get taken for more. They don't have cargo insurance and their auto insurance will not cover for damages or anything they tow or haul for hire and some of them are never delivering at all. Thank you and have a nice day.

Choosing a Reputable Boat Carrier
When chooasing large boat or yacht shipping, it is essential that you find a reputable transport company who has the proper equipment, experience and authority to safely ship your boat or yacht. It is your responsibility to ensure that the boat transport company you choose is reputable and that your boat arrives at its destination with no problems. Researching a boat shipping company’s authority, insurance and past business record will help you determine if you can trust them with shipping your valuable boat or yacht.
Check Boat Transport AuthorityBefore considering any boat transport company, you must check that the company has Federal Motor Carrier Authority and Federal DOT Authority. Any legal boat carrier should be able to provide their MC or DOT numbers, and any responsible shipper should verify these at www.safersys.org to make sure the carrier is registered for boat transport.
Verify Boat Shipping InsuranceOnce you’ve determined that a transporter is legally authorized to transport your ship, boat, or yacht, verify their insurance. Request a certificate of insurance from the service provider. Any legal carrier is responsible for carrying a minimum of cargo and liability insurance, but you will want to verify your chosen carrier’s specific coverage. If your carrier will also ship boat parts for you, be sure they carry enough insurance for that cargo as well. When evaluating a boat transportation company’s insurance policy, keep in mind the following:
* Double check any insurance information you are provided. Check with their insurance company or on www.safersys.org to make sure that the company is in fact insured and that their policy has not expired.
* Do not accept a carrier who says your boat will be covered under their Personal Insurance Policy. They must provide a Commercial Insurance Policy in order to carry property they do not own.
* Check that your boat transport company provides cargo insurance (NOT just liability insurance). This is the only kind of insurance that will cover your boat.
* Valuate your boat and ensure your boat carrier’s cargo policy offers coverage of equal or greater value than your boat.
* Be clear about deductibles and the process for claims. Ask how quickly claims are handled and how you should submit damages.
* If a transporter’s cargo policy is inadequate, request that they purchase short-term additional coverage for your boat. In this case, get a copy of the short-term policy and verify it.
It is also a good idea to contact your own boat insurance provider to inform them of your plans for boat or yacht shipping. Check if your current boat insurance protects you against losses incurred while a company is transporting your boat. Your boat insurance company may also be able to refer you to a reliable boat transportation company.
Research a Boat Transporter’s Business RecordOne of the best indicators of a boat transporter’s professionalism is their reputation. When you begin searching for boat carriers, you should ask around your marina or local boating community. Someone may be able to provide you with a referral or a warning—which can be just as valuable.
Ask your boat shipping company if they belong to any professional organizations. Membership in a shipping or boating organization can indicate a high level of knowledge and a proven track record in the industry, as these groups often have stringent membership requirements.
Finally, review the company's record on the Better Business Bureau website to see if they have had any major complaints filed against them.
