My name is Ronald Lee Grim, I ran for City Council because the Utility Company got approved by the Tecumseh City Council to raise the Utilitys to a wopping 20% on the people of my beloved community, The promise was that it sounded higher than it would actually be and that the people would only have to pay just a few extra Dollars.I knew that was not the case and an add was put in the Tecumseh Chieftain Newspaper of me almost begging the Tecumseh City Council not to let this happen, And My words were this, The elderly living on a budget would suffer, The poor would suffer and passing this would hurt many many people and it would be more than a few Dollars.The Tecumseh City Council passed the Utility Hike anyway without a response to my letter.
Well I was right.
Peoples Utility Bills went up almost $100.00 a month (more than just a few dollars) Then during the election I fell deathly ill and have been fighting for my life and still am but now have a chance to live Thanks to the help from Senator Nelson, Senator Heimann and LT Governor Sheely which is another story for another time.
Today I found out that the Utility company is yet again raising the Utilitys.
I have to be admitted back into the hospital but someone needs to step in and stop this complete injustice to the poor, elderly and all whom are just getting by.
If I live through this health issue I plan on running for Mayor.
Its a shame when someone runs for office in a small community with promises of bringing in more people, Words that were copyed from me and then make it impossible for anyone to afford to live here.
After looking all of this over and looking at every past law by the Tecumseh City Council ive came to the TRUTH...NOT THE CONCLUSION.
The rich people of this community will do anything it takes to keep people from moving in, They want this town small because Small means Power in Tecumseh Nebraska and people like me whom they concider a threat will be taken care of.
Im not Barack Obama whom wants change but his own party screwed him.
Im Ronald Grim aka SmokeyC4 Coyote Lee and I will survive what has been called a death sentence to my health and when I do beat this illness that could be Addisons Discease.
Im coming back and im going to run for Mayor and the Utility Company will have someone not on there payroll but instead someone on the peoples payroll, And I say The Peoples Payroll because im taking every penny that im payed when I win and im giving it all to opening up a thrift shop where all procededs go to helping the people that are in need.
And I live on $674.00 a month SSI
What have people become when they hurt the elderly and poor? When does Enough mean Enough?
Thats my complaint...Oh and one other thing...Not every weathy person in Johnson County, Tecumseh Nebraska is bad, Its just a handful enough to keep power, The people of Johnson County are not allowed to vote, Only the people of the tiny community of Tecumseh are given that special privledge.
Im Sure I will Pay For What Ive Just Wrote, But Fighting To Help Others Always Comes With A Price, A Price Im Willing To Pay To Help Those In Need.
