tankless water heater doesn't work right
I purchased a water heater through E-bay, from this company in Feb 2009 to replace a water tank and this unit seemed like just the thing. The price was right and and the installation seemed pretty straight forward. I received it in good condition and I so I went ahead a gave good feedback which I shouldn't have done since I hadn't installed it yet. I installed it a couple of weeks later, and it was straight forward in spite of the fact that I had not received any manuals with it whatsoever. No instructions, no operating manual, no literature, only a warantee registration card. Anyway, it seemed to work O K at first, but then we quickly found that the output water temp was fluctuating wildly, so I contacted George Sararu, the seller, and he asked me some types of irrelevant questions about the gas, then he said my regulator had ice and was frozen, well it was piped in on the same line as my furnace which was working fine, so I knew then that he didn't know much. We bickered like this for a few more weeks and finaly said it was my temp sensor and that he would mail me one as well as a new computer module since he could reprogram my old one from his location. (I live in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada) This was the last time I heard from him. He has blocked all my communications and I am now stuck with this heater that doesn't work. I next tried to complain to E-bay, they said they take these complaints very seriously, but because it was past the 45 day point, they couldn't do anything. They sugested I complain through Paypal which I used to pay for the Item. I tried paypal, they said they take these complaints very seriously but because I was past the 45 day point, they couldn't do anything. Can they not see that this seller purposefully drags things out past the 45 day point? So now what? Any sugestions?
