Omega travels to the moon but its service sadly fails!!
About a year ago I purchased a vintage Omega watch and subsequently left it with the Omega service agent in Dubai for servicing. They subsequently broke the glass and damaged the dial however never admitted to damaging the dial until I went to collect the watch. I should note that it took them 3 months to replace the glass and they still intended charging me for servicing the watch.
It is now almost a year since I've seen my watch, I've never actually had the chance to wear it and it's now lost it's orginal parts. Despite repeat requests from me the Service Agents state they are "not in a position to deliver any commitment" and Omega remains silent on the issue. I've just lodged a case with consumer affairs to try and resolve the situation and hope it does.
Moral of the story, if you want a brand that delivers a service for their product, look elsewhere.
