Don't sign any contract at the Omni club gym. The sales people will tell you anything to get you to sign. Read everything before you sign the contract and don't believe anything they say. Once you sign you are trapped unless you want to pay a ridiculous cancellation fee and give proof of a move with a utility bill, drivers liscence with your new address sent by certified mail to their corporate office. Who would want to work out at a gym where the sales people don't even respect the client enough to let them know what they are signing? I bought my membership as a hobby. After I had my daughter I spent a lot of time at home with her and wanted a place to go and get out of the house. Once I started working and going back to school I didn't work out any more so I decided to make the most of my membership by purchasing a personal trainer to get me back into working out. I told the sales man who happened to be my ex-room mates boyfriend I wanted to work out for one hour two times a week for a month. He convinced me to sign a contract for 6 months because he said my training sessions would be cheaper if I signed up for six months at a time. I decided it was a good deal because I thought I was getting a trainer for 30 dollars an hour which is ten dollars cheaper than I paid at golds gym with my old trainer. When I went to my first training session I found out that the sessions were only 30 minutes long! I am really mad now because I was misled by the sales person and now there is nothing I can do but jump thorough hoops to cancel my membership or continue to workout at a gym where I was disrespected and taken advantage of. Bottom line: READ EVERY CONTRACT FROM THE OMNI AND DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING THEIR SALES STAFF TELLS YOU UNLESS YOU SEE IT IN WRITING. IF THEY CAN GET YOU THEY WILL!!! PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME AND ALLOW THESE ASSHOLES TO MAKE MONEY BY CONNING THEIR MEMBERS!!!
