Order Placed and on Back Order
They showed a great deal on a Camera, so I placed an order. I had to call to verify the order. When I did that, they told me that it was "In Stock" and would ship it out. But right after I got off the phone with them, they send me an email. It states that the camera is on a "Back Order" for 6-8 weeks. I would not ever order anything from them again. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!

Bait and Switch
Unfortunately, I fell for this Bait and Switch. Tried to order a Nikon D60 camera package for $410. Got a call from there CSR to confirm the order. Was informed that camera came without batteries. My CSR Eli Silver, said a battery would cost me $100 and the charger $189. Said I could get a better deal if I upgraded to the "Super" package with battery and better lenses. I asked if all components were new and Eli said yes. When I received my package, I discovered all boxes were opened and lenses and camera are reconditioned! Package came with 70-300mm Nikon AF lens fit the camera but is not designed to work with the D60. The AF function requires that the motor be in the camera, and the camera only supports lenses with motors in them!!! Customer service "disconnected" me 6 times when attempting to return package. I was blinded by the "too good to be true" pricing and should have researched the company first!! Shame on me!!

Total for life lesson... $850

By the way, you can get batteries on Ebay for $10 and chargers for $15.

Fraud and cheating
I Googled 'lowest price' on a Canon sd880is digital camera and 'On Time Digital ' came up. I checked out their web page and found the description of the camera rather incomplete. I then called the company and asked for additional information as to what was included with the camera, specifically battery, charger, cables, manual... The first person said 'I don't know' and hung up on me. The next call/person (Joe S.) I spoke with informed me that 'it comes with everything'. I then completed the order with my CC#. I was then informed to call back to 'confirm' the order after I received an order # via email. I got the email with the order # and called to 'confirm'. They then tied to sell me a battery, charger ect. I told them that I was advised that they were included with the original purchase. Joe S. then said that the original purchase was for a 'import model' and only the 'domestic model' had all the accessories. I then said I wanted to cancel the order and he hung up on me. I called back to customer service and they said that the order was canceled and a cancellation email would be sent...I have yet to receive the cancel email.

THESE PEOPLE ARE CON ARTISTS
I just went online to order the Panasonic AG DVX100b camcorder - listed on there site for 1299.99 for a starter pkge. On the site - big as day - there is a list of things the camcorder comes with:

~ Panasonic AG-DVX100B 3-CCD 24p/30p/60i Mini-DV Cinema Camcorder, with CineSwitch Technology, FireWire Interface and New Black Sapphire Color
~ 3-Hour Lithium Rechargeable Battery ...
~72mm 3 Piece Filter Kit..

The list include about 13 things, of which I didn't even care about. I just wanted the camera! I get a call about 30 minutes later, and a person by the name of Sean left a message on my voice mail. He wanted me to call him back, to confirm my order. I call him back, and he confirms that he got the order, on my mastercard. And then he proceeds to ask me, "What kind of lens do you want for the camera." Stunned...I responded, what do you mean, what kind of lens do I want for the camera? Doesn't the camera come with a lens. I've never heard of a camcorder coming in "parts"?? He says, no sir the camera does NOT come with a lens. I retorted..then your SITE doesn't say that. He answered back..yes it does...and I adamately responded.."NO IT DOES NOT". We went back and forth, at which point he finally said, do you want to cancel the order...and I responded..then CANCEL THE GOT- D...well, you know where I'm going with that. I have NEVER been so pissed off in all my life, because I felt I was being coned AND INSULTED..at the same time! And I don't take too kindly with either!

These people need to be shut down!!! It's folk like this, that make me really understand, why this country is in the mess it's in. Bad business practices - for one thing!

Signed,
VERY UNHAPPY CAMPER

Miss leading
I placed an order for a camera and they asked me to call them to confirm the order. When I called them they attempted to sell me other items. When I refused to purchase those other items they cancelled my order. I have requested a manager to call me and none has.

Bad customer service
The customer service representative who is also the manager, refuse to do business with me. Apparently he doesn't like to answer questions regarding the product he is selling. As a consumer you want find out the best deal, questions about the product. The internet enable the consumer to shop the best deal and if another company have the same product but sold at different price, you would want to understand why the price is different. The customer service rep/manager name is David ext. 207, appears to lack customer service skills. If anyone is trying to buy from this company make sure you do not deal with David, he is very rude, and appears to not care about the consumers.

Shady sales; Misleading
On Time Digital advertises the Garmin Nuvi 855 for $469.99 with free shipping. I placed the order without checking into the company first. The first red flag should have been when I was charged $14.99 for shipping.

Days went by and I received an email stating I needed to call to "confirm" the order. I did so and talk to a so called rep named Joe S. He stated that the unit was "on hand and ready to ship." That is when he tried to sell me Garmin maps. That's a joke since the 855 unit has built in North American maps. When I told him I did not want the maps, he argued with me that the unit needed additional maps..."specific to the unit." After I called him out on the B.S., he stated the unit would ship out today.

Becoming suspicious, I logged on the site a couple minutes later to check on the status. The order showed "Canceled." When I called back to inquire why my order was canceled, I was transferred around and finally talked to a guy with an attitude. He ended the conversation with, "Your order was canceled. We don't have that product anymore. OK?"

Don't do business with On Time Digital.

Fraud and Coercion
This is the reciept to the camera that I ordered from this company called On time Digital 1-877-422-5115:

Qty: 1

Tax: $0.00
Total: $849.99

Notice the type of camera and the description that it is describing what I am buying!

It conscerned me shortly after making this purchase that I never recieved any conformation email on such a large purchase.

I did not recieve an email from them to confirm the transaction until the day that I decided to call. This was about two days later.

Ely, the associate that I spoke with over the phone told me that all I ordered was the "body" of the camera.

This means that there is no lens, 1/3-Inch 3-CCD Widescreen MiniDV Camcorder with 24P Recording Advanced Optical Image Stabilizer...it is just the body of the Canon XL2.

Not only did this confused me when I went back to the site to investigate further on what I had purchased, that same page that I saved in my favorites when I found the camera still has the same camera displayed but at a different price $1649.99.

This is the link to it:

http://www.ontimedigital.com/products.asp?product_id=11620&from_search=11620

Over all, what it all boils down to is that Ely, convenced me that I was not purchasing a complete ready to use Canon XL2 at the priced displayed as the Holiday Special(at that time) and that I had to spend an adittional $3000 to get the full version of the camera (notice the price of the camera).

I could not afford that so he offered me the Canon GL2 in which I had to pay an aditional $1700 to cover it's cost, BUT, when you go to the website look at what they have it priced $699.99:

http://www.ontimedigital.com/search.asp?sent_search=1&s_cate=10001&s_key=Canon+GL+2&x=4&y=10

I am on a fixed government income and it took me 2 years to saved up enough money to purchase the Canon XL2 even without a Holiday Special but some how I feel that this whole transaction is fraudulent. This whole transaction has cost me $2549.99

I have been calling them and now, all of a sudden, you don't get a live person on the line. Your put on hold for 5 minutes then sent to an answering machine.

Here is a copy of the email that i sent them today after several attempts on the phone:
____________________________________________________

I have some concerns about my order.

I am investigating the products on your site and have been exploring what you explained to me about the packages over the phone.
My concern is that you talk me into purchasing a Canon GL2 at $2549.99 but upon looking this product up on your site, it's list price is $1499.99 and that's the Professional Package.

Not only that, upon looking at the packages for the Canon XL2 w/Professional Package is priced at $2449.99.

Help me to understand this. You have left me feeling as if I have been coerced into purchasing an over priced product that I did not want and the one that I do want is listed well within the budget that I have already spent with your company.

Please help me to rectify this possible simple misunderstanding.
George.

Unauthorized charges
We tried to purchase a Kodak M1033 camera. It was listed for $119 plus $9.99 shipping, plus tax. They sent an email for me to call them about the order. I confirmed the order. When I checked the order online, the price jumped to $195. I called and explained the situation, I was placed on hold for 45 minutes. Hung up, called again, 30 minutes later and many lies later, I canceled the order. I was going to ask for a confirmation, however he hung up on me.
