I've had problems with Verizon billing me for mysterious small charges before, but this one takes the cake. A charge of 12.95+tax for "ONe Backup LLC" showed up on my phone bill this week. I called ILD Teleservices who billed me on behalf of One Backup, and they simply gave me the phone number to One Backup. They could not explain how they got my phone number through the internet to charge me. When i called One Backup directly, and they had an even weaker response. They claimed that someone I never heard of might have "typo-ed" my phone number and got the charge placed. Then when I asked them for their website address, she said THEY DIDN"T HAVE A WEBSITE! I asked them how can a company provide online backup service without having a website. She had no answer, unbelievable.

An unexpected charge of $12.95 showed up on my AT&T phone bill from a company called One Backup, LLC titled "ONEBACKUP, LLC-DATA BACKUP MTH SVC FEE"

I had never heard of this company before.
