One Stop Motors Reviews

Do NOT deal with these people
I listed my truck with One Stop Motors and gave them $499. They

did absolutely nothing to help sell my vehicle, other than post

the pictures I sent them on their website. Craigslist or any other

legitimate auto trading website would have been more effective AND

would have saved me a lot of cash. I contacted them to express my

displeasure and ask them to do more, but they told me "sorry" and

kept my $499. OneStopMotors is a SCAM, and I hope those jerks end

their predatory "business" practices. SCAM!

Automated phone calls at all hours!
Ever since placing our car for sale on craigs list and two other free sites, One Stop Motors has been ringing our number once a day at different times. This morning I was on the floor doing my morning exercises before 8:00am, and had to get up and answer the phone for their automated message. I started to e-mail them, but then realized that they would probably use my e-mail to harrass me even more.

It's a shame one cannot advertise something for sale and not be harrassed by people wanting to make a dollar from you - when you are trying to sell something to make a dollar yourself. From looking at different complaint websites, even if you did want this company to market your vehicle, they do not appear to follow through.

Scam alert
Onestopmotors or One stop motors : Either way its a HARDCORE High Pressure telemarketing room in Las Vegas Nevada. They were very nice to me until they got my credit card.

My name is Terry Michaels. These thieves at onestopmotors are VERY Slick. I was very skeptical at first but they had an answer ready for any question I came up with. They told me their best advertising package was $500 and that their cars normally sell within a few weeks. They are smart scammers and they appealed to my own greed. I really wanted to believe my Chevy Camaro was worth high end blue book value. I had listed my car on craigslist.org in January 2011. Within two days of listing I started getting telemarketing calls from Onestopmotors. Onestopmotors told me their better than craigslist and swore to me they could sell my camaro for more money because they have “Special” financing for any credit type - even collectors cars like mine. It sounded very interesting.

The salesperson I spoke to said my camaro was beautiful and that these types of cars are the kind they normally sell to collectors. I didnt really think of a 78 camaro has having high "collector" appeal...but the guy talked a good game.

Sadly, a month after I listed my auto, I had'nt heard anything from OneStopMotors. They used to call me Daily and it suddenly STOPPED the moment after I gave them my credit card number. I felt like such a Jack-***!! I found hundreds of complaints on google under onestopmotors or one stop motors.

I was so embarrased and angry and had that "sinking" feeling in my stomach.

I called onestopmotors customer service, they told me all those complaints online are from former onestopmotors employees. I asked them why they have hundreds of angry former employees? What kind of business is onestopmotors running? I asked the onestopmotors rep why Onestopmotors has over 200 complaints filed against them with the Better Business Bureau and was given an F Rating. The rep told me all their complaints have been resolved. I asked the rep why they still have an F rating, if they’ve actually resolved all their complaints?

The rep asked me to hold ... and then left me on hold for 21 minutes. Yes I counted. The onestopmotors rep then came back on the line and said, "oh your still there?" told me they had an emergency call and would have to call me back. TWO DAYS later I got a call from Onestopmotors saying they were a company manager and wanted to rectify the situation. I asked for a refund and the smug manager basically told me I was screwed. They said I signed some mystery "online" contract and that my only option now would be to sit back and wait for them to sell my car.

I AM GOING TO CALL MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND CHARGEBACK RIGHT AWAY. I am then going to file an online complaint with the Nevada Attorney Generals Office. Those are the guys who look into SCAMS Like OneStopMotors and will use the FBI to Shut OneStopMotors Down. I would advise everyone to stay away from Onestopmotors. They truly are a scam.

Sale of Motorcycle
One Stop Motors is a scam! Approximately 6 months ago they hounded me relentlessly to do business with them. I had contacted them about selling a motorcycle for me and finally, against my better judgment, paid them to sell it. Their promise to post it on every website known to man on the Internet, sell it within 4 weeks, and sell it for a decent price was what lured me in. In the six months since handing them my money ($500.00) I have been unable to locate the motorcycle on their site), lowered the price 3 times, and they won't return my calls. I would encourage everyone who has dealt with these criminals to call the LasVegas Chamber of Commerce (if they indeed really have an office there-I have my doubts that the photo you see on their website is really their building), the better business bureau, and a good attorney. That's my plan.

Absolutely no offers were made
About 5 calls from One Stop Motors were made before I gave in. They got my phone number from my Craigslist ad. They listed the car 5k more than what was my original asking price. Absolutely no offers were made. They listed my car on eBay but I did not get an offer close to my lowest possible price. They would not re-list it on eBay as they only do it once. It has been over 3 months and 3 price reductions and not a single call from one stop motors. I wasted $500 and they told me that after 6 months I can get my money back.

When I listed my car for sale I indented to sell it in a month at most and now I still had not sold the car and have to wait 3 more months for my money back. This is insane. They have no idea what they are doing. I am really not happy with their service. As soon as I gave them my credit card the customer service went down the drain. When I call them to see what is going on with my ad, they keep telling me that they’ll relist me on some website (which I never heard of) and that’s all they can do.

They assured me that 90% of their sales are made on eBay. They only listed the car there once. They claimed that $500 is the cost of marketing. If I would spend $500 on cars.com and autotrader.com and eBay I would have my car sold by now. This is a joke.

Not honoring Guarantee
Crafty and professional sounding sales people lure you into listing with One Stop Motors flaunting their money back guarantee and making you feel confident in their ability to sell your vehicle. Their attention disappears almost immediately after they get your credit card. I had to initiate all actions after the initial set-up. After the 180 day listing requirement, I requested a refund because I had NO, not even one, referral. Of course, then they used small details as loop holes to deny my refund request. Of course, they did not do anything to bring my attention to the details upon registering. VERY, VERY deceiving.

Did not honoe guarantee
ONE STOP MOTORS is a scam. they get you into selling their car or truck, then they make sure you dont get your money back by not posting 1 picture or something they know of so you cannot receive a refund. i got caught in the same situation with them and i have contacted them over and over again, and they did not do anything but yell at me, hangup the phone on me, and curse me. i was very displeased with this. we need to get a lawyer amonst all and do something about false advertising. send all your complaints to better business bureau.

Rip off
DO NOT USE onestopmotors. It is a complete rip off. I lost $499.00. They didn't do anything they said they would. They are very good a bull *** you, so beware. I listed my Motor Home on Craig's List and apparently they watch for advertising vehicles and then contact you. Don't fall for it. HANG UP ON THEM...I blame myself but I am still pissed. It is lucky for them I don't live near Las Vegas...Nothing physical, I would take up a position at there location and let everyone know what they are getting into. Do not use this company...

scam
i had posted a heavy truck for sale on a used site and this person by the name of curtis contacted me from one stop motors saying they could me more for my truck than i was asking. after talking to him he was very insistant about getting my banking info to get money and every time he called me the price kept going down thinking that i would bite. one time i talked and said i would list my truck on their site and they didnt even have my truck model listed and told me to list it as another model of truck which also threw up a red flag for me. so if anybody else gets a call from these ppl please do no not give them money or any kind of financial info as they are scammers.
