I called the number on www.oneshotfitness.com (888-348-6728)and spoke with a guy, Aaron, about purchasing a treadmill. He was very informative regarding the machines and what his company (a warehouse)does to the equipment as far as refurbishing them. I then asked him about financing and he went on to tell me that he could take my info and shop me the best rate on financing, etc.He went on to tell me how it would be better for me to get a 0% credit card because it's essentially the same thing as financing. I figured I would think about it (as I do on all large puchases before I make a decision) so I told him I would think about it and call him back. To my shock, he says "You're not going to call me back are you?" I said, "Why would you say that?" he then says "Because you sound like you're full of it." Iwas completely shocked because I gave him no reason to say this as the only part of the conversation I had was asking him questions about the equipment, warranty and financing. I never said anything to make him say something like that. My response was "well, that's not really good customr service." to which hehung up the phone on me! The reason I am sending a complaint is because he told me that his company was a member of the Better Business Bureau. Which, by the way, is not posted on his website, nor did it come up when I did a search on the BBB site. I think this should be dealt with if he is lying to customers telling him that his company is a BBB member and if he is, in fact, a member, he shouldn't be treating his potential customers this way! I honestly had every intention of calling him back if I made the decision to purchase, now that he treated me that way, he's lost my business.
