Team Onida,
I, had purchased a Onida lt(flat screen) model no:-L032XRGBB, sr.no 4000295 dated 16/06/2008 from Vijay Sales Chembur outlet, invoice no:-25-CH06-08SIAO 555 and to my utter surprise within 3 months of functioning the TV stopped working as there was some internal power supply issue.
I have registered several complaints at Vijay sales (Customer care) and your authorized service centre, Adonis Electronics Pvt.Ltd.(Fine art Mumbai)
In the span of 13 months of usage, at least 3 months the T.V was not been used as the same was not working and for at least 15-20 days the set was at the service station for repair Post my complaints my T.V has been taken to their service centre 3 times and the engineer has visited my place at least 6 times for repair purpose, every time the problem is been rectified and within a weeks time I face the same problem and the T.V becomes completely blank. Due to regular Repairs there are end numbers of scratches created by the Repair agency and the TV now appears to be more than 3 years old .I strongly feel that on spending Rs 34000/- for the above model, I would never expect this kind of a product from such a reputed brand Onida and if not recieved a satisfactory solution will urge all buyers not to buy any Onida product.
I now demand for a replacement of my T.V immediately without any further delay. If not I would further like to submit my request in front of the consumer court.
