I clicked onto a banner ad on facebook which had a picture of a baby, it said theres free/giveaway for parents and after i filled the form out I was directed to there website. From there I got a phone number to call. The sales man named Karl tells you about the website. Funny I googled before and didn't seem to find anything wrong. So I paid to set up the website for USD$477. They said you should receive an email but after 3 days I hadn't seen one in my inbox. George called me a few days later to help me set up the website but i advise him i hadnt received an email so he said to check in the spam folder - i shouldve listened to my instincts then because i was wandering why it was in spam. Anyways, he calls back a few days later and said it was going to take 30mins but took almost 2hours taking, showing me the site, back office, tools. Near the end of conversation saying that there was a standard $2495, deluxe $3459 & ultimate $4995 advertising & coaching package. I was shocked and told him i was not advised about extra costs if i knew then i wouldn't of bought it. Told him I couldn't afford it now, which i couldn't and he wanted me to put it on my credit card. He kept pressing on and asking why? giving me scenario's ask to persuade me to pay. He then ending the conversation quite fast after I said I couldn't pay it. Anyways, i think i was really eager to start my own website it was my first time and i was abit naive i was even thinking of getting a loan to pay for it. Lucky i then googled again and saw all these posts and thank God, bloody hell...pissed off alright! I haven't approached them for refund yet as I haven't found out until now that its all lies... Darn! Sorry to those people who paid heaps of money I feel for you. these kind of people need to be caught, punished and everyone whose money they have ripped off need to be refunded... twice as much for the trouble they have caused... makes me MAD. Yes i'm sure there are reputable companies out there and it will be quite hard to trust them now but yes definately do DUE DILIGENCE first.
