I too, like so many others got caught in this Web Scam. When I initially clicked on the site there was only a $1.95 charge referenced in the ad. The ad indicated that the company was affiliated with Google. Thats the only reason I clicked on it. What a SCAM! This was around December 14th. However, when I returned home after the holidays I discovered that there was an overdraft on my account. An amount of $129.95 had been withdrawn. I never saw anything in the add in reference to a charge of $129.95. It must have been invisable. When I called the company I was told that I had been given 3 days to cancel (not sure what it was I was cancelling) or there would be a $129.95 charge. I still don't know what the money was for. I have never received any product or information regarding the use of the money. I requested a refund and was told that by law they had 30 days to refund my money. Well, where is the law now??? I have been trying to get my money back since December 26th. Today is March 8th. I have called every week since January 26th. I've been given excuse after excuse why they haven't refunded my money. Money which they shouldn't have taken in the first place. I asked them to credit my account and was told that they were having problems making electronic refunds...funny they had no problem electronically taking my money. I was told that I could request a check but it wouldn't go out until the next week. This was on a Tuesday and I was told that I had missed the cut off time for checks being issued for that week and that the Accountant issued checks only on Tuesdays. I was assured that the check would be in the mail the following week. Of course, it never came. I called again and was told that the bank erroneously cut the checks for the incorrect amount and that checks were being reissued as we spoke. That was approximately three weeks ago. However, I have yet to receive a check. I called again week before last and was told that the Board of Directors were requesting that I wait two more weeks and that a refund would be issued. What a stall tactic. I called 877-391-8856 last week and there was a recording stating that the company had gone out of business. There was no mention of refunds. How awful that they scammed numerous of people out of their hard earn money just because they could. What a world we are living in. These are heartless and evil people. I hope they remember that what goes around comes around.
