COMPLAINT ACTIVITY REPORT Case # 89028512

Consumer's Original Complaint :
I sent for ordination documents and materials from WCM. When I received them I was VERY dissapointed in the quality & value of the items, especially those past the Ordination pack. I sent a letter explaining my position and asking for a partial refund. They refused and basically told me take what we sent you or send it all back! Afetr a few more emails trying to reach a middle ground they informed me that my ordination documents were being revoked because I had "brought intimidation" into the discussion by letting them know that I would be filing complaints! So now I had NO choice at all. I have returned everything and gotten my refund but I have completely wasted my time and feel that it is only fair that I share my experience with others. The materials that they provide are just plain old Xerox copies in black and white and they have the nerve to charge you $7 for 5 wedding certidicates that NO wife would want to display or frame (Just as on example) I have kept copies of all correspondence and have made a video unpacking and review of the materials I received and would be glad to share them. I will also be filing Indiana Attorney Generals and Federal Trade Commission complaints. This organization does NOT conduct itself as a business with good customer service OR as a legitimate Christian organization as they have no sense of forgiveness or justice when dealing with their customers. I will be asking my attoney generals office and the FTC to investigate WCM's standing as a legitimate Ordaining religion or body. To me this is nothing but a money making business that says "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, so you better not complain about what you paid for" I will also be glad to share my experience and the video of their materials with youtube and ripoffreport. As I told WCM before I do not threaten or intimidate. I discuss and negotiate and I tell you, in advance, what I will do.

Consumer's Desired Resolution:
I am asking that my "ordination" be reinstated and reissued. I hesitate to associate my name and personal ministry with this group but I also want them to take responsibility for the fact that they have utterly wasted my time and slowed the start of my own local New Testament ministry. I want the Basic ordination package with Preacher designation in Zurich Caligraphic typeset as originally ordered.

Unfortunately Mr. Cruz's correspondence to this ministry appeared threatening and intimidating and we determined that we would not be able to satisfy him under any circumstances. We returned his uncashed Postal Money order #18311270692 for $90, and reimbursed him $8 in cash for the postage of his sending back the materials he received. As such, we consider this issue closed.

I have offered to share my correspondence with any and all parties concerned. I was not threatening and did not use intimidation. I also told you UP front what would satisfy me. You are not being honest. I have gotten Ordained through Saint Luke Evangelical Christian Ministries and I will be posting all about this experience on my own web site and any others I come accross. I am actually glad you decided to take this position. I don't want to be associated with "ministers" or "ministries" that think it is ok to straight out lie about someone just because they had the audacity to complain about the quality of your products and offerings. This can be filed as closed with the customer unsatisfied. Once again, please KNOW that I will be doing everything I can to stop you from cheating and mistreating others who look to you to help them set up their own ministries. Not a threat, it is a promise of my intended action. You should be ashamed to call yourself a Christian organization. All that would have been needed was for you to let me return part of my order. You refused and forced me to either keep it all or send it all back, and I am the one using threats and intimidation? I will pray for you that you will eventually learn to conduct yourself according to the teachings of Jesus and the Bible.
