I was on the internet searching for best and cheapest airline flight. I was using Hotwire.com. I found the flight best for my needs. When it came to book the flight, I decided to wait. My options after entering my credit card information and the security code was to book it now or exit. I exited from the sight and contiuned surfing the Web. The next day I was checking my checking account balance. I usually check often. To my surprise an unauthorized charge of $279 posted for a purchase from Online Supplements. I contacted the bank. I was told the only information posted was Online Supplements Galveston TXUS. No address, no telephone number. Nothing. I was given the appropriate information to cancel my card. I was told it could have been popups just out there waiting for me or someone they can catch. I have the McAfee total protection 2009. I thought I was safe from unauthorized action. The bank is working with me, but it is not something that will clear up right away. It will take about 20 to 30 days. So someone just took $279 from me for now.
