I book Linda hicks to transport my horse (on the road transport out of oklahoma)in may of 2010 on the day she was to arrive she did not show or call and i had to chase her down then she gave some story of how she was waiting to pick up 2 horses in Georgia she was to be in Port Charlotte Fl she told me that she would pick him up the next day .that day came and went she made other excuses that she had a week to pick him up in the contract so i gave here a week ..that week came and went and more excuses i sent half the money to her to transport my horse as time went by more excuses came as to why she had not picked him up and delivered him in the end i had to book another transport service to get my horse where i was in Ky by this time 3weeks had gone by always and excuse came with why she could not get my horse transported or why she did not send my money back she claims she did through a money order service (which is traceable) but i heard no more i asked for my money back after i booked another service to transport my horse it has now been 6 months and i have not received my refund for her lack of service she gave me some made up story about how she had sent a money order to refund my $350.00 and it supposedly got lost and was never found she is a bad business and i would not trust her with my dog let alone my horse i have called repeatedly and get the same old story and have not got my money returned. be warned my fellow horse lovers do not use this woman to do anything for you she is not dependable not reliable and always a story of breaking down to not having enough horses in her load or having a bad day she needs to be put out of business for good. as far as i am concerned she is a scam i would not recommend anyone use her funny to her website ontheroadtransport . com is no longer in service wonder what she is calling herself now.
