I bought a Fuji FinePix S1000fd 10 Megapixel Digital Camera w/professional package <br /><br />
online today from ontimedigital.com aka On Time Digital, Inc. for a price total of $219.98. Before I made the actual purchase I called their customer service number at 1-877-422-5115 and spoke with Ed ext.208 to make sure that this package deal was in stock and ready to ship. I was told by Ed ext.208 that this camera w/professional package was in stock and ready to ship. He asked me to call him back upon placing my order online and he could expedite my order. I called Ed back after I placed my order online and all he did was try to sell me other products and warranties that I repeatedly stated I was not interested. I received a order confirmation via my email and shortly thereafter I received another email from the above mentioned company stating that this item I ordered was on back order 6-8weeks, that I could cancel my order if I wanted to by contacting them online. 1st there is no way to cancel online therefore I called Ed ext.208 back and was rudely hung up on. I called back and after 15mins on hold was connected with Gabriel ext.211. She canceled my order. She also stated that my credit card had not been charged and would not be charged. Upon checking with my bank I was very upset to learn that the $219.98 was already deducted from my credit card despite what Gabriel ext.211 had stated to me. She did send me an email as proof of the cancellation of my order. I then called this company yet again and spoke to Michelle no ext given and she stated that it would take two days to put that money back onto my credit card even though the order is voided. I then requested to speak with a manager only to be have to leave a message and have not had that call returned. I did not curse yet did express being upset in the message to the manager along with all of my information I am beyond being upset as I am unable to purchase another camera with an accredited company until my credit card is credited with the money. This company is fraudulent in their sells, refunds are bogus, customer service is nothing but lies and a total scam job. I intend on voicing my story to other resources/media (I have the paper trail to back up my story) in hopes that no one else has to go through the turmoil this company has put me through.
I believe that this company needs to be policed and held accountable for their fraudulent practices. I believe that after reading numerous accounts of others being scammed by this company that this company should have their licenses revoked and further charges/actions be brought against this company.
