I signed up for oohilove.com and everything was fine. I bid on an auction on Friday of last week, I was informed I had won the auction. I paid for everything as was instructed. On Wednesday (3/30/2011), I still hadn't recieved any indication that my item had been shipped, so I emailed the company through their website and asked what was going on. They responded that they were having some technical issues and that it would be shipped soon. Later on that day, I recieved an email from another onlince auction site stating that Oohilove's parent company had filed for bankruptcy and would be closing the site and that I should move over to THEIR site. I thought this might just be a scam to get people to join their site, so again I contacted the company and asked them if this was true and if they WERE closing, I would like to know how to get my money back. The email I recieved this time stated that they would get to my email as soon as possible...one of those computer generated "We've recieved your email and will get back to you soon" kind of deals. I never recieved a response so I sent them another email on Thursday morning asking them the same question and got the same computer generated response. When I signed onto the website in order to get the phone number so that I could call the company ask talk to someone personally, it stated that the website was closed but left no way for me to get in touch with the parent company. I would like to know if there is any way to get my $ back or if I'm just out of luck.
