This scam is so unreal, but these people stole over $20 000 Canadian from my dad.

My dad's wife died of brain tumors. After a few months he was getting very lonely. Actually, his wife was in full time hospital care for 4-5 years, so my dad was very loney. Anyways after my mom died, my dad was in a very vulnerable state. He was looking for a lady from china. He came across a lady that seemed to be nice, and truthful. After a while of emailing, my dad got her phone number, so they started talking. This lady was working in China, but she was from the Philipines, so she spoke english. They talked for a month or so and she decided she wanted to come to Canada. Her name is Joey Mendoza. She said she had a friend that worked in a travel agency known on the internet as www.openworldtravels.com. I and a few people checked out the website, and this business seemed legit. So Joey said that her friend which was an agent at www.openworldtravels.com, would help her get to Canada. So my dad helped her out and sent some money through western union (local) to pay for joey's visa, and plane farech totsl $3303 US. the name of the agent at this travel agency is Barbara Hoppe. She gave my dad her cell number so she could be contacted at any time, she also spoke english. So now my dad was talking on the phone to the agent for most of this scam
