The following is a matter of public record (and all matters of public record are available to all members of the public at anytime) I have posted no derogatory statements, malicious or false comments. In my opinion, is important to let people know about my personal experience with this company. Opera Fashion Group's legal department should be aware that "Truth" is an absolute standard of defense in the United States Court System, and the truth is that they have been notified (at addresses that they provided to the Judge during the trial in NY State Court) a Court Judgment (35989 CVN 2009) that ruled
that I proved damages and which awarded me the payment by Sueli Costa (and Opera Fashion Group Inc) of $25, 000 with interest from July 15, 2009. The NY State Civil Court has since sent them notices to no avail. To this date Sueli Costa and Opera Fashion Group Inc have avoided resolving this matter.

Here are the facts: Opera Fashion Group Inc and Sueli Costa were both found to be in breach of contract in a New York State civil court, a JUDGE was presented the case from both ends during 3 separate court hearings in NY. The plaintiff was self represented, but Sueli Costa and Opera Fashion Group were represented by a lawyer on 2 out of the 3 hearings. The judge found Opera Fashion Group inc and Sueli Costa BOTH responsible and ordered them to
pay a judgment of $25, 000 dollars plus interest. As of today the defendants have made no effort to settle the payment for the judgment.

"Opera Legal" can say what they want in their blog, but it cannot be denied that the court judgment exists, that they have refused to pay it since August 2010 and it is a very tangible reality. The Plaintiff presented to the judge items that were real and not "faked" like they claim. The transcript from the court hearings as well as the court judgment itself are a matter of "public record" and can be published by anyone at any time.

THE COURT JUDGMENT IS VERY CLEAR when it reads: "The oral testimony and exhibits submitted to this court establish that in October, 2008, plaintiff and defendant entered into an oral contract. [.] Plaintiff's testimony and exhibits proved damages. She was sent non-conforming goods, which did not meet the terms of the contract. An email was sent by defendant to plaintiff stating no longer would accept any returns or cure the defects in the goods,
therefore, it is the decision and judgment of this court that plaintiff has proven damages and is entitled to $25, 000 with interest from July 15, 2009. Accordingly, for the above stated reasons the plaintiff is awarded damages in the amount of $25, 000.00 with interest from July 15, 2009. This constitutes the decision and judgment of this court."

Opera Fashion Group's response is that they are the victims of a convincing performance that made the NY Judge settle in favor of the plaintiff. When the truth is that the evidence against the defendants was so overwhelming that even without a lawyer, the plaintiff prevailed. It took 4 judges and 6 months for a judgment to be reached. Opera Fashion Group and Sueli Costa are solely responsible for the assessment of the credulity of the American court system. THE TRUTH IS THAT COURT JUDGMENTS DO NOT LIE, JUDGES GO ON EVIDENCE IN TRIALS AND PLAINTIFF HAD AMPLE EVIDENCE. IT IS THAT SIMPLE.

To be complete: I have never sued anyone else. I have not sold a single item of the non-conforming goods. To this date, I have not been notified that Sueli Costa and Opera Fashion Group Inc have appealed the Judge's decision, and they have simply refused to pay the judgment and continue to evade their responsibilities.
