unwanted mailings disguised to look like a bill
Receiving numerous mailings, each disguised to look like a bill for a magazine. I have called the company more than once with the intention of having them remove me from their mailing list forever. It's difficult to get through. The first time I called I left a msg that my address is listed on the "no junk mail" list and therefore I should not be receiving these unsolicited mailings. Twice I left a message that if I continued to receive these mailings I would be reporting them, unless someone called me back to speak with me. Once I actually spoke with someone, who told me they were just a small company trying to do fundraising for a good cause. The implied message was that I should overlook such a little thing as frequent unsolicited mailings disguised as bills. I reminded them that since they were a company mailing out unsolicited quasi-bills, they were obligated to investigate the "no junk mail" list and delete from their mailing list the names of anyone on that "no junk mail" list. The woman I spoke with said they would remove me from the list and I shouldn't get any more mailings. The mailings did stop for a few months but they have now resumed and I am following up on my promise to report them as unscrupulous.

unwanted mailings
I get mailings from this group about once a week and can't get them to stop. I am on the "do not mail" list and they should not be sending me these offers.

Unwanted deluge of mailings
I have one subscription, Mother Jones Magazine, for which this company bills me. Recently I have been getting several mailings each week from them. Each looks like a bill and is for a different publication--all reputable magazines. I wrote asking them to save some trees and remove my name from their lists. Today's mail brought 7 from this company--this is ridiculous.

Magazine Subscription Offer
Deceptive mail offer claiming "notice of renewal/new order" as if from the magazine company asking for a renewal. In fine print it says "not a bill."

Magazine subscription scam
I have been getting mailing from this group for years, titled "Notice of Renewal" and showing a magazine I do subscribe to and presenting me with the amount due, who to make the check payable to and where to send the check. In small print elsewhere on the mailing it is said: "This is a magazine subscription offer, not a bill or invoice". Only once did I bite and send a check to renew an existing subscription, but nothing happened. The real publisher later sent me a true bill. This is clearly a scam and I am amazed it has gone on so long.
