I used my CC for the first time for a transaction of 20K I got a call from hsbc team that there were cash withdrawals on my card on the same day for about 12K in various bank ATM's (and each ATM center is 8 km apart and all the transactions happened in a period of 30-50 mins), I logged a complaint about this after 15 days they sent a letter that they got response from some banks and they reverted that amount, and there were some other banks yet to respond. This continued for 1 year in the mean time when ever I call they would say they are waiting for the response from bank. After that all of a sudden they changed the story and they started telling that they send another mail stating I am responsible for other transactions and claims that the response was sent in less that 45 day from the day it was logged. And interesting thing when I asked them why their call center people could not say this for 1year then they are telling that I never called the call center (no words to say may be they are expecting the customer to record the conservation as proof).
and after and year they called up and said the due amount is 30K. Don't know how to proceed. Please let me know what I hav to do.
