deceiving offer
the offer indicated a 30 day free trial for $1.00 shipping cost. later observation of the terms and conditions I did realize it states the trial package must be returned to eliminate any other charges. this information is well hidden, unclear, and unfair to consumers.

scam
I wish I read these complaints before I sent for the product! By the time I received ORTHO WHITE product I had two days to use it before canceling! It was over the holidays and I did not get the chance to use the product.
When I called to cancel the representative was pleasant. But later I received a charge on my credit card for $78.41 after being told when I canceled that there would be no further charges or shipments.

What was even worse, is that the representatives of ORTHO WHITE (when I called about the billing) were absolutely the rudest, most unprofessional people I have ever encountered in all my working career.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USING THIS COMPANY OR PRODUCT. HOW THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS TRAVESTY IS A MYSTERY. I am not done with this. The Attorney General of Colorado will hear from me.

Overdrawn my banking acct. after cancelling product same day
I was looking on my computer when i noticed free trial for ortho white i just had to pay shipping they said then they ended up 2 days later charging my bank acct 78.47 making my acct overdrawn another 35.00 on top of the 78.47. I am disabled and need my money to pay my utilities and dont have it now!!! I am requesting my money refunded ASAP!! This is ridiculious that they would be allowed to do this to people. How can they get by with this?

withdrawl from my account for $78.41
I charged ortho white for $2.87 as a trial. I used the product and did not see any improvement. In less than 2 weeks, my account was debited $78.41. Why is this how can you try something for one price and don't get chance to see any results or even get a follow call about the product. Tiral is used up and I've been charged more money for ortho white I did'n receive. I want my money back asp or I'm seeking councel for this scam. I'm reporting this scam to the Attorney General Office for unauthrized withdrawl from my account.

P.S. My account is in the negative $78.41 and $35.00 penalty Sincerely Valencia Perez

In very fine print! They are rip off artists soooooooo stay away from this one. Im also calling consumer reports and my local cable company that represents them on my home page. I am also calling the newspapers and anyone I can warn about them. They need to be shut down...they are losers. Whatever you do dont give them your ATM/creditcard number they will rip you off

teeth whitening
purchased a free trial of Ortho White and paid $2.87 shipping and handling, the offer was on one of the app games from facebook or myspace. What I did not anticipate was the $84 after charge about a week later. I received the product after the charge. Then I figured, "Ok I get it nothing is free, they got me". about 3 weeks later I recieved another box. I called the phone number on the box to cancel the service. 2 weeks later, I called the company after recieving another $87 charge, and spoke to customer service. I asked, "I returned the product unopened and wanted to know when I would get my money refunded to me". The girl on the other line said, "that's not our refund policy and you signed up for a monthly service" I said, "I don't want the teeth whitening and I signed up for a free trial". She told me, "Too bad, we're sending the box back and that's not our return policy, you had 8 days to try the product before cancelling it." I then called my bank and cancelled my debit card. Thankfully the bank has put in a claim for the company. Unfortunatly I fell for a stupid scam, and the company is not going to cooperate.

Ripped me off for $78.41
I signed up for a free trial of Ortho White teeth whitening from an ad on the internet. It said pay only $1. shipping & handling. 8 days after the $1 charge to my debit card, they charged $78.41 and said that I had agreed to it when I ordered the sample and that they would not refund my money even if I sent back the product unopened. I have never tried a product with such a short trial period and never expected such a short time to try it and cancel if not satisfied. I would not have asked to try this if I had known I would be charged almost $80 a week after ordering the trial.
READ THE FINE PRINT. THEY SAID IT WAS ON THERE. I DIDN'T SEE IT!!!

free trial is not free-scam
I signed up for a 'free trial' agreeing to pay $2.87 for shipping charges to try Ortho white through a third party survey/prize award. Yes, I thought if I got through the survey I would get a free apple computer. Not! The third party made it clear I had to purchase 5 products...which after looking at it didn't amt to much...Being retired, having time, I thought why not. Well now I know why not. I didn't make it through the maze for the free apple but thought the Ortho offer for $2.87 was worth a try.
Much to my surprise, I got my free trial from Ortho along with a charge of $78.41 to my credit as well as the $2.87.

A confirmation e-mail which informed me of the order, my name & address, shipping address, product, charges of $2.87<br />
etc. from Ortho did arrive. They cleaverly confirm all the shipping billing date and..once I saw that $2.87 was charged to my credit, I did not think any careful scrutiny of the fine print was required which is at the bottom of the e-mail.
I called Ortho..but was told that I had only 6 days to cancel..and so I was too late. After great protest the operator agreed to give me a $45 credit. I am not happy..$35 for a 'free trial' is outrageous. I've written to customer service and we'll see what they do.
