My relatives arrived at Ahmedabad Airport on 25 th March, with Air Deccan (AD) issued e-tickets on their hand having number 6349530, they were not allowed to board the flight on the ground that they were not carrying the copy of the credit card. However they were carrying the photo identity card with them and circumstances happened such that the copy of the credit card at that time could not be availed due to the unavoidable circumstances.
However they were allowed to board the flight from their way to Mumbai to Jamngar on 21st March, with their e-ticket number 6345497, without being asked for the copy of the credit card, while both the tickets were issued on same credit card.
Because of being not carrying credit card the elderly relative had to spend another day in non-residing place of Ahmedabad, which caused the poorly couple a lot of uneasyness and hate.
This is nonsense as applying terms and conditions at the choice of the airport manager and not applying uniformly at all places? We could have arranged copy of the credit cart at their place of Mumbai while traveling from Mumbai to Jamnagar, if they were asked on the airport, as at that time I was reachable and could have arranged the copy.
I have sent e-mails to the AD and did many of international calls but they do not bother to reply or answer the phone for my claim of the refund of full ticket cost and compensation for additional stay in Ahmedabad.
I see in some article calling Mr. Gopinath, CEO of AD as father of the low cost airlines, however not this turned down to be an airline, who is intended to harras customers and public, and to make money with every possible way.
I hope my voice and agony will be heard somewhere and punish those responsible for it. It is not matter of money, it is matter of the harassments to the elderly couple and taking away rights from us and other innocent people by such act of the AD.
