Didn't send product or refund money
I ordered a pair of boots for my husband in early November as a Christmas gift. By December 15, I still had not received the order. I called several times, but I wouldn't get an answer as to why I never received the order. They never refunded the $80. They just ignored my emails and calls. It's a terrible company when they start stealing from their customers to stay in business. I reported them to the better business bureau, but they had no luck as well. They called the company and sent threatening letters, but never got a response.

Kept my money, didnt ship product!
Ordered a pair of boots on November 6, 2009. They took my money. Never received the boots. Never got my money refunded to me. Relentlessly tried to call and e-mail them, but was not successful. Site is down for maintenance. Phone number is disconnected now, which doesn't matter...left numerous messeges and received no response. I now see MANY other unhappy and frustrated customers who are going through the same thing. There has to be something that can be done!...Anyone know what????? non-refund
I also ordered a pair of boots in November and they charged my credit card that same day. Three weeks later they cancelled my order but to date I have not received a refund. I have tried repeatedly through e-mails and phone calls to resolve the issue with no luck. I don't know how this company can just take your money and nothing happen to them.

never recieved 911 boots
I ordered a pair of 911 boots on 12-7-09 and never recieved them. They also billed my credit card. Their phone kept ringing all of December 2009, now their mail box is full.

Fraudulent Company
I wish I had looked at this website before attempting to do business with Outdoorheadquarters.com.
My situation sounds similar to many others who have submitted complaints about this company.
I attemted to order a pair of Danner hiking boots and I choose outdoor headquarters.com because it would have saved me $10 bucks. Big Mistake.
The website looks good. Who would think that a "company" selling outdoor equipment would be fraudulent. Well this one is.
After placing my order, I never recieved an email confirmation. after a week of checking my email I began to call. Same thing every time.
Run Around message and leave a voice mail. I placed 30+ phone calls and I was never called back.
I also emailed them at least 10 times. No response.
Eventually I did a little research and found I was not alone.
At this point I contacted my bank and fortunately they refunded the money to my debit card. They took over attempting to retrieve the money from Outdoorheadquarters.com. So far they have been unsuccessful.
DO NOT order from these guys. Hopefully there website will be taken down soon.

Non Receipt/Attempting to get Refund
Ordered LaCrosse boots from Outdoor Headquarters on 12/6/2009 expected by 12/22 for Christmas. Status never changed from pending. Emailed numerous times trying to get info/status update only to be totally ignored. They billed my credit card immediately yet never to this date 1/6/2010 have I received the boots or any response from the 6 to 7 inquiries I sent. I contacted my credit card company 12/31/09 and filed a dispute to have my account credited and have them help me get a refund. Very poor business practices. Non existant customer service department. Now their site shows as closed for maintenance...sounds like they are shafting many people!! Buyer Beware doing any business with this company.

I went through my bank at the advice of the manufacturer Danner whose boots these creeps screwed me over for and had my money returned to me via Visa within three or four days. I just got a call from my bank advising me that these creeps are contesting the reverse charge and want info like, when did I call and what was my expected delivery date. I was never given a delivery date, could never talk to anybody to find one out, they cancelled my order in December ...effective the date I ordered it. Seriously I am right now completing my complaint to the FBI on them. Manufacturer has told me that ALL ORDERS TO THESE PEOPLE have been cancelled...so they cannot ever supply the boots but they still want my money. Can u believe these guys???

Scammers
Ordered a pair of Lacrosse boots on 11/27/09 and was billed the very next day, waited two weeks and no boots, they will not answer or return calls, or emails . Called Lacrosse direct and said they received the order from OH and they would not release the order to be shipped . Apparently most of the manufacturers no of the issues with them not shipping orders etc. I ended up filing a complaint with the BBB and am disputing the charge, They did finally cancel my order as I asked but I haven't seen any money back yet, Stay away from these low life scumbags if your smart .

Listen up everyone of you victims of this scumbag of a company...I was also a victim of these crooks...I stumbled upon this website after a month of frustrating calls, emails..wellyou all know the deal. I found a posting here that directed the reader to contact the GA BBB, which I did, and the money was refunded back in my account in three days after I filed my complaint with them. I have been getting a lot of responses in my inbox, and I revisited the GA BBB website to see how many more complaints have come in since Dec. 3. Increase from 43 to a whopping 101!!! Keep 'em coming folks! Un fortunately there was a note from the GA BBB on this company, stating that since early Dec., they have failed to make contact with OHQ, despite repeated attempts to do so. I was highly disturbed by this report..and I will be contacting the GA Attorney General (again) on this new development. I suggest to keep your complaints flowing into the GA BBB, however don't hesitate to call or email the atty gen. Another website I found helpful is www.fraudguides.com/report/georgia.asp which lists a lot of go-to sites for help within that state...The important thing is don't let these bastards get away with this scam with which they apparently are still having great success operating. Also..write an email to the company that represents the boots you bought...I wrote several to Rocky. Hey anyone up for a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT!!!????? Peace and good luck.
