I placed an order with OutdoorPros and selected 2-Day shipping. Instead, they shipped standard (delivery eta of 11-21 days). I immediately cancelled my order (only hours after placing it) - both via email and phone. I received an email the next morning asking if I was "sure" I wanted to cancel the order. I immediately phoned back to verify but the rude, argumentative rep on the phone told me she couldn't cancel it - it had already shipped. The truth of the matter is that it had NOT yet shipped. They had more than enough opportunity to cancel it - it turns out, my order HADN'T shipped - it didn't ship until 6pm that night. These guys are scammers. They advertise product they don't have, delay order cancellations until it's "too late", and if you are so inclined to call them to voice concern for their fraud, they are happy to argue with you for hours on end. The sad truth is - they know that it will cost you more $$ to ship it back to them (they DON'T provide return shipping) than the refund on your card will be. Oh, and be ready to pay 20% restocking fee. The professional scam artist I spoke with actually had the audacity to try to bribe me! She offered to waive the 20% restock fee if I agreed to not "retaliate".. HA! Yeah - I'm going to help you scammers get away with fraud in exchange for $2..

This is a classic scam operation - make it harder and costlier for people to return or cancel orders than they will actually be credited for the return. I am filing complaints with the FTC, the Attorney General's Office of CA and the BBB..

Be warned - they have another scam operation - PlumberSurplus.com.. Clearly, they are not about hiking, camping, hunting or anything "Outdoors". They are simply a clearance house for whatever crap they can find to peddle.
