Since the beginning of our business relationship, Outerbox Solutions, Justin Smith, in particular has been unethical, rude and deceptive. He charged me $5000.00 for a website we verbally agreed I would have control of, own, and hold the certificate. Instead, he set my upscale site onto an antiquated version of Candy Press. I have no control over making changes as we agreed, I cannot send out newsletters or receive reviews. When I made my first complaint in Aug. '08, Mr. Smith screamed over top of me without hearing my complaint. Dec of '08 I attempted again to resolve the issues and he accused me of sexual harassment and coersion due to my "appearance" and said I was condescending to his staff. I have received ZERO support or guidance for my $5000.00 website. I maintain the site 7 days a week, 12-16 hours daily and continually have to make corrections as to size, color, etc., as I find that somehow these details continue to "change". I now have found that my SSL certificate I "share" with others. For $5000. I should have the top of the line programming, support and my own SSL certificate. Which I made clear to Mr. Smith as my clientele is high end and we must protect their information at all costs. For the price I have the right to expect professional customer service and guidance. When I have asked for these things, Mr. Smith does not respond at all or even within several weeks. If you look at my site now, you will see an old Magazine badge that should have been changed two months ago as per my request. He REFUSES to change it. He also treats my male partner with more respect but still does not follow through with his promises. When I contacted the multitude of my colleagues in the industry forwarding Mr. Smith's email to me that he refused to make any changes on pages I had no control over "even if you paid me", suddenly his response time was 4 minutes as opposed to 4 weeks. He accused me of being unethical and slandering him. Yet in private this man continued to waste my money and prevent me from producing the meticulous site $5000. should have paid for and prevented sales as prices were often missing even after I had recently caught the problem and corrected it. It continues to this day. It is quite obvious this man has no business ethic and once you have paid him all support is dropped. There was never even a consultation period to familiarize me or my staff as to how to upload text & images to the site, which we did ourselves...for $5000.00. Mr. Smith has charged me for a premium platform and I have received an old template outdated by years. I should not have to pay him thousands of dollars monthly for SEO to receive respectful treatment and assistance. I want this man out of business as he has no intention of giving good service, keep his promises, educate his clients to ensure their success. He does not belong in the same professional group of people who do their level best to give a good product that reflects the cost and support their client as any concerned businessman would due to a sense of integrity.
